Sleeps 6 comfortably but can have up to 8 if there are small children. Seven private acres to enjoy. Cabin has a pond and Grasshopper Creek running thru it where you can fish as well if you want to walk back among the willows or you can access it thru other parts of the neighborhood and find a hole to fish from. If your willing, it's great fishing. 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, hop on your sled at the cabin and go!! Mile high ski runs 5 minutes away at Maverick Mountain, dirt biking/mountain biking, fishing, hunting, or just relaxing. Polaris scenic bypass takes you up to the Wise River, Beaverhead River and Big Hole River, the best fly fishing in the lower 48's. Moose, deer, elk, antelope, you name it roam the property. Doesn't get any better than this. Cabin is clean and decorated with rustic flare! Come enjoy as we have! Enjoy Crystal Park to dig for crystals or go to Coolidge Ghost town or Bannock State Park which is also a real ghost town. Head up Elk Horn or Jackson Hot Springs near by.

The cabin just had an addition and new porch added on Summer of 2010. All furnishing are top quality and everything you need is there at the cabin. Very private and cozy.

“Great place to stay!”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2016

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful. The beds were really comfortable, and it was quiet with no neighbors around. I actually slept all night which I rarely do. The living area is really comfortable, and makes you want to stay forever. We were in Polaris for our daughter's wedding, and our stay at the cabin made everything perfect!

“Heaven on earth!”

This place was heaven on earth! last minute Memorial Wknd we found this hidden gem! it was available, thank goodness. we were going to visit family in wisdom and also wanted to see area sights. First of all fast response and easy to rent. Price was super. Upon arriving to the cabin you notice that the particular cabin is secluded, so that was awesome! The views are spectacular, absolutely spectacular! Walking into the cabin you are greeted by a gorgeous wall high fire place, so stunning! The other first thing i noticed was the tree placed inside where some had left carved initials (you aren't supposed to) but it was very neat. The whole cabin is so nicely decorated with country , rustic wildlife. Loved the marble looking dining table area floor, concrete but loked like a chocolate marble! Everything you need is already there! Bring some main food to cook and the accessories are there to use. The main bedroom is so inviting, with the log bed and all the cielings in the cedar tung n groove LOVED IT. We used the kitchen as we prepared hamburgers and hotdogs and such which we grilled on the porch (bbq already there) the view from the porch is awesome facing the pond. I drank coffee there each morning. We took our small beagle dog, he loved it there too! My kids lovd it and i also had my newborn 4 week old baby. We were comfy as could be. We didn't mind the taking out the trash upon leaving, or the washing to dishes we used, or stripping the beds and having laundry ready for the caretaker- it was no problem. There is a little store nearby called "Ma's" they had things we forgot like "worms" for fishing. We did catch a small fish in the grasshopper behind the cabin passed the pond. We did not get to see any Moose, but that's OK. The weather was absolutely perfect. We went fourwheeling, since the area is so wide open and lots of space to ride. we had a camp fire in the area outside too. We went to Crystal Park, found some small crystals, went to ghost town (super cool) visited Dillon, and Wisdom. We definitely will come back again! The owners have really made this an amazing place to stay and all we have said since is how we'd love to own their home, it's so perfect. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home! (Amie, Donald Walker) & kids

Owner's reply: Wow! Thanks for the great feedback Amie. So glad you had such a great time and that we were able to get you in at the last minute. Hope you can make it back again! If we ever decide to sell I'll let you know. It really is a special place and so glad you got to enjoy some special time there!

“Gem of a Trip.”

Rustic and nice, and owners accommodated our group of 6 adults, a six yoa, and twin 2 yoa. It is easy to find, private with good roads, and well located for adventure trips. I'm from the area...lots to do for those seeking a little adventure.

Thank you for sharing your cabin, what a wonderful experience. We dug Opals, Crystals, and then Sapphires all in the area. We would then return to the cabin for the afternoon evening and enjoyed the views and togetherness. Oh yes and we also went to the Hot Springs, just up the road. Again the Cabin was more than any of us expected and I thank you for sharing this .

“Peaceful Sanctuary”

A few BFF's & I traveled from all over (SF, East coast, & I'm from Livingston, MT) to relax & celebrate the anniversary of my surviving a head-on collision last year. [Yippee for me!] We were all taken with how secluded & peaceful the property felt. Even though there are homes relatively close by, the wiillows growing around the cabin/yard make it feel as if you're all alone in the middle of Gorgeous Nowhere. Favorite parts? My friends couldn't stop raving about the radiant heating in the floor! My favorite was sitting on the front porch, enjoying the magnificent view, the ravens, hawks, eagles flying by, & just having quiet time to relax. We also loved the fact the cabin is so close to Elkhorn Hot Springs, a quirky/fun/quiet place to take a dip & have an amazing meal with chef Jackson! Thanks for a wonderful stay! I'd definitely come again & would recommend to a friend. P.S. FYI -- I'd suggest paying extra to have the home cleaned on your departure, to avoid the added 'chores' requested in the rental terms. That was the only thing that sorta put a teensy damper on our visit. Having to take the trash a few miles down the road, sweep/vacuum, that kind of stuff. But it wouldn't keep us from coming again. Next time, I'd just pay extra to have the caretaker handle that for us. THANKS!

We had a wonderful time relaxing in the absolute quiet and beautiful beautiful atmosphere of the Jolley cabin. There is much to do in this area winter and summer and returning each evening to this perfect cabin is a real treat. Thank you

“Cozy cabin”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2014

We are a middle aged couple who stayed for four nights. The sleeping areas (loft with two queen beds and lower level bedroom) are.....snug. Upstairs beds are partially under low eaves and the downstairs bedroom is mostly queen bed with barely room to squeeze by. The kitchen is crowded when more than one is using the sink, range, or frig. Not too long ago the cabin received the addition of a great room which is spacious, beautifully appointed and comfortable. We had some issues with technology withdrawal since WiFi , internet and cell phone service are unavailable, though DirectTV can be used to get news and weather. There is quiet aplenty with the loudest noise being the lowing of grazing cattle. Moose sightings are possible but not predictable. Trash must be disposed of by the guests at a dumpster site about ten miles away. Owner also wants guests to vacuum, sweep, strip beds and do dishes by hand before final departure. This is in addition to paying a $50 cleaning fee. To me that seems a bit onerous to expect of paying customers. On the other hand, rates were very reasonable. Just be aware of the conditions!

Stayed here to be near my daughters wedding site, Maverick Mtn. ski resort. Great views, peaceful, quiet, and enjoyed the resident moose with her calf daily. Want to make a repeat visit when I don't have so much going on and can relax.

“Awesome Return”

This makes the second year in a row we have had the pleasure if staying at this lovely cabin. Our son got to come with us this time so it was a great family vacation. We got snow one night, snowflakes were the biggest I have ever seen. Got about 7 inches that night. Did alot of exploring and found an old mine, went to the ghost town and relaxed some. Did not get to see the moose this time but maybe next time. I am sure if we don;t make it back next year we will the following year. Thanks again to the Jolleys for sharing your beatiful cabin. We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It's beautifully decorated, gorgeous views, with a few four-legged neighbors (moose, deer) that came for breakfast every morning. I felt the pics did not do justice for this cabin, you just have to experience it for yourself; you won't be disappointed. We'll be back!

Beautiful setting to relax in. Outdoorsman paradise! Romantic setting for a couple that just wants to get away. Clean and new!

Mosquitos are the worst in June. They are usually non existent in the rest of the summer months. Depends on how wet the spring is.
