As the name suggests, Groomscott Apartment has been converted from grooms quarters and the harness room into holiday accommodation that is ideal for couples looking for a base for walking and sightseeing. Groomscott is situated on the outskirts of Porlock for people to enjoy all that Exmoor and this traditional village has to offer. The accommodation is comprised of a light living/dining area with kitchen facilities, adjoined is the bedroom (one double and one single bed) with an en-suite shower room.

Groomscott Apartment has been converted from grooms quarters and the harness room into holiday accommodation that is ideal for couples looking for a base for walking and sightseeing. Groomscott is situated on the outskirts of Porlock for people to enjoy all that Exmoor and this traditional village has to offer.

Groomscott Apartment is accessed via a private drive for the holiday apartments (shared with Little Court) which is just a short distance from the main road leading into Porlock. From the allocated parking space a path leads you to the apartment. The entrance takes you straight into the open plan living room and kitchen; two steps take you up into the bedroom, which has one double and one single bed and en-suite shower room. The french doors open onto a pretty garden with outside seating.

The kitchen is fitted with fridge, freezer, microwave and electric oven with hob. Other equipment includes cookware, toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television with freeview and DVD player is provided in the living area. Wireless internet is available in the property.

Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Groomscott Apartment has central heating which is programmed for you but can be adjusted to suit your preferences. An additional electric heater is also be provided should you require it.

Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.

A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.

French doors open onto a private patio and lawned area with views away towards Hurlestone Point and Selworthy Beacon. Off-road parking for one car is available; this area is shared between Groomscott Apartment and Little Court Apartment (one parking space for each property).

Dogs welcome (2 max) for a supplement of £15 per dog.

Groomscott Apartment is strictly non-smoking.
