Great winter stay in Port Charlotte

April 10, 2015

My wife and I were fortunate enough to find this home away from home for the winter. It was a great location on a canal on the Myakka River. It was a quiet area with little traffic. A good place to go bike riding or go for long walks. We especially enjoyed all the birds that populated the area, including a great blue heron that walked right up to us in the back yard. The house itself was spacious and well kept with all the necessary items needed for an extended stay. The owners were always willing to help with any questions or anything that needed to be taken care of. For a quiet relaxing vacation at a very reasonable rate, this was the best place we have stayed at in Florida.

Owner's reply:

Great people to rent a home out to. As always we attempt to provide a comfortable home away from home at a reasonable price.

Comfortable home with a great view. Nice dock on canal for access to river and harbor. Nice quiet neighborhood for bike riding or walking. We plan to return Jan/Feb 2013.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

The home was being rented in September 2015 and a water drainage problem into the home was identified which makes continued renting of the home until repairs are made impracticable. I am currently pursuing repairs that are estimated to be completed before the end of November 2015. Sorry for any inconvenience resulting from this water drainage problem.
