Description of the Prescott vacation cabin rental

So Near and Yet So Far! Here at your Mile High Cabin you can have the best Prescott has to offer. After a busy, long day of shopping, eating, drinking, kayaking, wine tasting, ATV riding or bouldering, you can drive a quick couple of minutes up the mountain to your private cabin in the heart of the Prescott National Forest.

Three Bedrooms, two with Queen beds, while the third doubles as both a bedroom/kids-room with futon-couch/fold-out bed, provided computer with flat-screen monitor and free internet. Two full bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a shower/tub combination.

Beautiful kitchen with a skylight over the island/breakfast bar. Knotty Alder cabinetry and Corian countertops. Gas stove, gas cooktop, rotating microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, and refrigerator with icemaker.

A cozy Great-room with River-Rock fireplace, topped with a flat screen TV over the hearth, and wood floors thru-out. You and your guests will enjoy the 3 matching, large, over-sized couch, love-seat and wicker rocking chair which together create a special, cozy, 7-person conversation area fronting the TV and fireplace. With an open floor plan bringing the kitchen and dining area into the great-room environment, everyone can partake in the festivities.

On a gorgeous, large, elevated corner lot with circular driveway, this 1500 sq.ft. cabin in the pines enjoys two decks with 3 hammocks, 4-person outside umbrella table, 6 Adirondak chairs, Chimenea fireplace, gas BBQ grill and loads of relaxation. Inside finds laminate wood flooring, River Rock fireplace, spacious full bathrooms with tile flooring, and large closets.

Outside enjoy the cool Pine-scented breeze while sipping away on one of the those two decks. Or choose one of several hammocks and enjoy a snooze while gently swaying with a clear view of the clouds blowing past the Pines.

You're in the heart of the Prescott National Forest which allows ATV riding on selected, clearly marked trails starting pretty much right out your front door. Or simply go for a hike, a leisurely stroll in the evening, take the kids to climb and explore the nearby boulders, or even drive your car and explore down many of the SUV accessible fire-access roads. Nearby are several closed abandoned mines that are still fun to seek out and explore even though the entrances have been safely blocked. Deer and Javelina, Woodpeckers and Blue Jays are all in abundance right here in our neighborhood. And right down the street outside the Park are often found a herd of Elk up over the hill along the road.

It's all up to you at The Mile High Cabin. ENJOY!

NOW OFFERING! We can now offer mid-stay cleaning and house-keeping for our longer-term renters. AND if desired arrangements can be made for meals to be brought into you each day should you like to really kick back and recharge your batteries by doing absolutely nothing! Both services are separately arranged, paid for, and provided by a third-party (a friendly neighbor) and not affiliated or guaranteed by us. Upon request, we will provide you with the individuals name, number and email so you may initiate contact and make your separate, private arrangements with her. This is a special, unique way to enhance your stay and inexpensively free yourself from those daily routines of cooking and cleaning!
