Description of the Prescott vacation cabin rental
Great Location! Beautiful mountain views! Private but not remote - just minutes from the Courthouse Square!

Quiet and private, on an acre in the tall pines in Prescott, this cabin feels miles away from the pressures of civilization, yet it is only ten minutes from downtown, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, golf, etc.

This roomy (almost 1400 sq ft!) cabin is decorated with a rustic, western theme in keeping with the mountain/pine setting, but has all the amenities you need: fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, two good sized bedrooms with a queen bed in each, plus a den with reading chair and computer desk, and two full baths (the master bath is ensuite).

We offer cable TV and internet connection.

Enjoy quiet evenings on the rear deck which overlooks Little Granite Mountain and Shadow Valley. Take a nap on a lounge chair on the front covered porch.

There is a fenced yard, as well as secure dog run, for your best friend (with approval).

Cabin is just off paved roads, easily accessible year round.

Area Information
"Everybody's Home Town". That's how Prescott is known. It has also been voted one of America's best small towns, and its charm is hard to beat!

Looking for a place to escape the harsh winter weather? Look no further! At about a 5,000 foot elevation in north central Arizona, Prescott offers a mild, four season climate, with an abundance of sunny days and blue skies.

Averaging over 300 days of sunshine per year, Prescott has just enough variety in it's seasons to add interest. The occasional light snowfall gives Prescott a "winter wonderland" beauty. What snow does fall (typically less than 22 inches per year) melts quickly.

The natural beauty is unsurpassed: tree covered mountains and rock outcroppings contrasting with clear, blue skies and grassy meadows. And there are several lakes in the area.

You can stay busy golfing, sightseeing, walking historic downtown, hiking the local trails, taking the nearby Verde Canyon Train ride, visiting the winery in nearby Chino Valley, etc. There's something for everyone. Plus, it's an easy day's drive to many of the state's attractions, such as the Grand Canyon and the Painted Desert. Phoenix is about 90 minutes south on I-17.

This is a great place to spend your vacation. The convenient location makes it easy to get around and see most of Arizona - and relax in your own quiet, private retreat at the end of the day.

Very charming place. We loved it, especially loved how close to town it is. There's alot to do in Prescott and the area, so we were on the go most of the time, but still appreciated the quiet and comfort of the place during our "down hours".

Great place for a vacation! We always take our two little dogs when we go on vacation, so we really appreciated the large fenced yard. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed so we could cook some meals in and not have to eat out for the whole week. On the whole, I would recommend this place.

Super Vacation! Spent alot of time outdoors, relaxing, enjoying the view and the peaceful setting, but it was also nice to be so close to town and the area sights. We've rented places that were miles down a dirt road before. This was much better! We hope to visit again soon.

A really nice place. In past years, we've rented places much further out because we like to "get away" when we're on vacation. We decided to take a chance on this place, however, because the ad said it was quiet and private but close to town. And, it really was! It really felt like a true get away, but it was so convenient to be so close to town. And, because there is internet access, which allowed me to do some work, we actually extended our stay. Really nice home, great views - all in all a good place to stay.

Relaxing, relaxing, relaxing!! The weather was wonderful, and we spent alot of time on the deck enjoying the good weather and the great view. Very private, quiet and tranquil. Felt like we were miles from anywhere, but it was just minutes to get into town or to pretty much anywhere in the area. And, the cabin was great - clean, comfortable, nicely furnished. We will keep this place on our list of great vacation spots.

It really is a fantastic vacation rental... we enjoyed this last vacation even more than most because the cabin was quiet and peaceful, but very convenient to town and all the local sights, etc. And, we felt comfortable leaving our dog in the fenced yard when necessary. We already plan to book again next year!

Loved the place! We had a very relaxing and fun vacation. The cabin was everything they said it would be: comfortable, convenient, quiet and private. The rear deck is super! And, we loved that it is so close to everything. We'll be back!

This was our second visit and we enjoyed it every bit as much as last time. We have family in the area and come to Prescott primarily to spend time with them, so we were on the go alot. But what time we spent at the house was very nice. I like the quiet and privacy of the place. No close neighbors, no traffic noise. I could sit for hours and enjoy the mountain view and the serenity!
