“Rainy Season in Kauai”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2017

The house was wonderful. We were there at the end of February and beginning of March. Unfortunately, that is in the rainy season. We didn't realize there was a rainy season. We tried to schedule a helicopter ride 3 times, and each was rained out. If you want to do things that are on the southern part of the island, it will take you an hour or more to get there from this house. If you want to enjoy beaches in the Princeville area, this house is perfect. Be aware that the roosters will wake you up each morning bright and early before dawn.

“Great memories at the Aloha House”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2016

We had 4 couples for this vacation. It was the best time we ever had. Still talking about it. We are looking forward to going back. The kitchen was great to work in and the area surrounding the house was beautiful. I grew up in Hawai'i and I have always said that the beauty of the Islands does work on your psyche as a kid. When you are surrounded by beauty like this it gives you a sense of peace in your soul. We had the time of our lives here. We want to thank the Owner for the privilege of staying in this house. She has it so stocked with everything you need. Even a very well mannered cat that we named Jack. The only thing that I'd say was a negative was those darn chickens! But like we said "We are in Kaua'i, whoo hoo!!" We will be coming back again. And I'm hoping with the same people!

“Family vacation”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2016

This home was very well laid out and our family of 11 enjoyed having the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The beach gear was fabulous with plenty of snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, a paddle board and toys for the children. The hot tub was great and the location was in a beautiful neighborhood with a view of Hanalei Bay and the mountains. Highly recommend for families. The Master suite was spectacular with a wrap around deck.

“Aloha House is Awesome!”

Reviewed 27 Mar 2016

I took my family to Kauai for a Spring Break vacation. We spent five nights at the Aloha House and it was even much better than advertised! The pictures shown on the website highlighting the features and beauty of Aloha House do not do it justice. The house was much more beautiful than expected, was spacious, and had everything we needed for beach fun or adventure. Breakfast in the mornings were cooked in the large kitchen and then we often spent a few minutes in the hot tub watching the sunrise as a great start to our days. Traci was excellent to work with and provided great ideas for things to do while on the island and great beach recommendations. Many thanks to Traci for allowing us to stay in her house for the week and providing my family with the best suited and most relaxing place we've stayed during a vacation! Thanks Traci!

“Great house for a group!”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2014

This is a great house for a group of people. The great room is great for big dinners and hanging out together. It is well stocked with beach towels and gear and is super close to the St. Regis Hotel where we watched an amazing sunset. I would very much recommend this house to anyone.

“Amazingly perfect”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2014

Had a wonderful trip. House was perfect for us. Extended family Of 6 plus an infant. Great location for early morning walk to the beach. Outside shower was by far the best shower. Upstairs bathroom gets alittle warm. If you want to stay on the north shore and experience a non commercialized area then this is where you Want to be. So serene and peaceful. Will definitely be back!!!

“Aloha House”

The house was wonderful. Spacious with enough bathrooms for a family of 7.The master bedroom big and private with beautiful views. The owner was very professional and quick to respond when we had questions. Located in a up scale area of Kauai and was not to crowded. Would love to go back. Thanks Tracie

“The best way to spend our military R & R”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2008

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Pictures do this home no justice the moment we walked in our mouths were left open. I totally loved the fact that I think all we bought while we were there was breakfast food. Everything we needed was there we even left some stuff for the next family coming in.I have been to many vacation spots but never was I given all the thing that were given at the aloha house I had to actually drag my children outside they wanted to stay at the house My son left saying he wished that was his home. We were in need of some peace and quiet after 10 months of a long deployment and my husband is going back a well rested man we still talk about the soft beds we all slept in. I truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This home is to us one of a kind and we hope to spend many more vacations there.....

“What a great way to celebrate a birthday!”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2008

The home was wonderfully equipped with all the amenities we could have needed in a home away from home. We enjoyed our easy walk to Queen Emma's bath and the easy drive to Hanalei Bay. Children 3, 5 and 9 had enough space to play while the adults could read, hang out in the jacuzzi, and relax at the same time. We loved the entire North Shore and were so glad to have found such a great location. We needed to get used to the roosters everyday, all day, but it was just part of the experience.
