Reviews for this vacation home rental in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii
Fun on the sun!
August 12, 2013
The house was perfect and immaculate. We loved the fact that the owner, Liz included a scrapbook full of ideas and fun things to do. We did three excursions from the suggestions, all of which were amazing! My daughter got married at Tunnels beach and we had a small get together after for food and drink at the house which was perfect! There were plenty of beach accessories for our day use. Walking distance to Queens bath and other beaches. Close to the small but efficient shopping center. Just keep in mind that Princeville pretty much shuts down at 10:00 and there is a noise ordinance so not a place if you are the night partying type. Although everything in the house was perfect, the portable crib was broken and the living room ceiling fan wasn't working, only reason for 4 stars. I'm sure that it will be In perfect working order for the next guests. We all decided that we would definitely stay there again!
Alohe Kathy...glad to hear the wedding went well! Thanks for the kind words! I thought the crib was broken also but when I looked it up online how to "put it together" I jiggled the sides to get them to hook! Works ok but is confusing!! The living room fan is one of those odd things that was there when we bought the house, it works from a remote but the trick is you have to have the upstairs fan on!!
I did have all the directions by the TV but they get moved around...sorry! Liz

We were fourth time in Princeville, three times we rented homes and once a condo. This home was definitely the best. Awesome master bedroom, two bedroom for kids or another family if you have a company. Very quiet, nice neighbors. Home is very clean and looks new. Comes with many nice things, like WiFi, Flat screen TV in the main room, smaller TVs in every room (not that we used them :-)), DVD player, a baby chair, even a printer to print your boarding passes when you head back. And since gardens around don't have banana trees, no roosters to wake you up at 5 pm :-)
Luxury private living

Coming from a treehouse on the south shore, this place blew us away for its finish, amenities and attention to detail. From the fully equipped and supplied kitchen to the banana lounges to the very efficient ceiling fans and snorkel gear, everything we could possibly need was on offer. Particularly, the serene and persistent quiet was the most enduring memory of this lovely place. Thanks to Liz also for supplying directions to a local, walkable private beach that made our final evening oh so memorable. Highly recommended.
