Description of the Puerto Morelos vacation villa rental
Casa de los Suenos, the House of Dreams, is a privately owned 3,000 square foot Mexican Villa that we operate as an owner in residence bed and breakfast. The high ceilings, open floor plan with airy spacious rooms, and tile imported from Spain, truly make this a special place. Add to that internet access, cable TV, private pool, around the corner from the beach and close walk to town and you have everything you need for a wonderful vacation.

Now you can have the luxury of staying in a Mexican Villa without the cost. We have two beautiful bedrooms for rent each with their own private bath and provide a continental breakfast made from fresh local ingredients.

The rooms on the main floor of the house were created to compliment and flow into the next. The spacious 18 x 32 living room leads into the sunken dining room, that faces the enclosed pool area, and we have a fully equipped kitchen with a separate refrigerator for the guests use.

We have three bedrooms for rent. The King Master Suite is approximately 750 square feet, has a California King bed, two couches, a private balcony with chairs and a hammock, built in dressers and closets, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi access and an in-suite bathroom with dual shower heads, dual sinks and marble Jacuzzi tub.

The Queen Master Suite, which measures approximately 350 square feet, has two Queen beds, a small couch, a sliding door for ventilation, TV, Wi-Fi access, air conditioning, built in dressers and closets and in-suite bathroom.

The Palapa room, is the smallest room in the house but I feel it is the loveliest. The room is the only room located on the third floor/roof top of the house and has windows on three sides for beautiful views of the jungle, ocean, sunrise and sunset. This room measures approximately 200 square feet, has a Queen bed, Wi-Fi access, a small refrigerator, coffee pot, in-suite bathroom and the best part a large 11 x 15 foot private balcony with a hammock and lounge chairs.

Your hosts are Kim and Jim, originally from the United States, and their adorable adopted Mexican puppy. Guapo. Mi Casa Es Su Casa!

Area Information
Puerto Morelos Mexico is such a hidden Jewel! It is like going back to a time when all of Mexico was about small pueblos with their local flavor and traditions. You will see this the minute that you arrive to this tranquil Mayan fishing village just 18 minutes from the Cancun airport and 23 minutes further south to Playa del Carmen and the ferryboats to the island of Cozumel.

Puerto Morelos has been joyfully missed by the developers, so our town has stayed a delightful mix of Mexican & Mayan families, as well as a nice blend of different nationalities that all want to experience the special life and energy that this spiritual vortex of the world offers.

Because Puerto Morelos is a totally operating pueblo, different than other areas in the Yucatan that have been developed around homes & resorts, everything you could possible need is here! There is a market with daily fresh veggies, breads & meats, and normal household needs.

Plus we have Internet and computer shops, gift shops, ATM & money exchanges, travel agents and car rentals, liquor store, water sport equipment rentals and boats for snorkeling or diving all around the center square! A great bookstore, beautiful church and nice people... in other words...we are a real town! We also have a great assortment of really good restaurants...reasonably priced!

This is a town where simple and luxury live side by side in delicious harmony. Say "hola" (hello) to anyone, and you will get a warm "hola" in return! The beaches feel like they are almost secluded, with long stretches of white sand against turquoise waters. If you are really lucky you will be in town when they are having a fiesta, a dance or a Mayan celebration and what a great time you will have! And if it is more of Mexico you want to see, you are so close to so many attractions, a mere week is not enough!

This was an amazing experience to stay at this Villa. The owners are so welcoming. It was like home away from home. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome & relaxed. The Palapa room is such a treat. Amazing view of the ocean. Saw beautiful sunrise & sunset. Very quiet & private room. Would definitely go back to the Villa in a heartbeat :)

My wife and I stayed at La Casa De Los Suenos in mid-June. The house was perfect for us. 3 minute walk to the beach and a pool in the back yard if 3 minutes is too long to wait. The roof top terrace was amazing especially with the hammocks under the thatch roof. Both the pool and the terrace are secluded and private which is exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a quiet laid back week you can't go wrong with Puerto Morelos. An easy 10 minute stroll into town with many restaurants to choose from. All of our meals were good and if you like fish and seafood you'll be in heaven. All in all, great house. One we will be back to many times.

Lovely Casa in Puerto Morelos

January 12, 2011

Our family of 3 rented Casa de los Suenos for Christmas week. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa and had a wonderful family holiday in Puerto Morelos. Of particular note, Eduardo the houseman was absolutely wonderful and assisted us with some minor house-related issues. This villa is about 1.5 blocks from the beach (which was spectacular and NEVER crowded.) It is a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the villa to the square. We had a marvelous time and hope to return!!

Of course, fell in love with Guapo! The bikes were a great way to get around and so nice to be so close to the beach.
What a great Mexican feel Puerto Morelos is….We truly enjoyed our experience

"When you said 'compare apples to apples when you consider your vacation rental' it really is so true. Friends of ours wanted to save some money and chose a villa that seem to offer what you offer, and boy were they disappointed and so envious of what we had. Their villa was on a dirt road with no street lights-with trash all around-plus it was a 15 minute Car drive to get to town-no safe walk for them! Your staff is incredible... they took such great care of us. My wife hurt herself and Lupita personally took her to the doctor and translated at the pharmacy-she was great. And Eduardo is such a great fine...we did want to take him home. Speaking of home-your villa is really special. We loved everything about it, Thank you so much- We are now planning our next year holiday and we haven't been home a week."
- Randy and Linda Sealy & Family-Naples Florida

"You were right, a week is not enough time! There were so many things we wanted to see and do, we barely had time to enjoy your fabulous villa! But there is always next
year! ! Lupita & Edwardo are the best! Thanks so much!
