Owner Supplied Testimonials

Wow is a word that doesn't begin to describe the penthouse! The pictures honestly do not do it justice! The moment I walked in to the main floor I was in awe of the view from every room. The bar is central to the main level and Mauricio was at the bar ready to make any cocktail requested. When you head up to the top floor you are greeted to a large open entertaining space with lounge chairs and an Infiniti pool that overlooks all of PV. The Avalon is the tallest building on the highest mountain in PV. You can see it from anywhere in the city, and I was able to spot it from the plane on my departure. Once I was finally over the shock of the amazing views and incredible penthouse, I was again amazed by the staff. Mauricio (the do it all guy from bartender to waiter), Santos (one of the best chefs in PV), to Laura and Cecilia who take care of the house. The meals Santos prepared were incredible. I gave him a rough idea of what I wanted in a menu but I told him to cook whatever was most fresh and gave him some culinary leeway to step outside of my comfort zone and I'm glad I did. Fresh tune, fresh red snapper, paella... All incredible and drastically less expensive. For a weeks worth of 3 meals a day plus alcohol (and our group went through a lot of alcohol) it was less than the cost of 3 nice meals eating out. Booking was also very easy. I spoke with Crystal, the owner, who was extremely responsive. She set up group massages and communicated with the staff before our arrival to make sure they had all the food and alcohol we requested on hand. She couldn't have been a more gracious host throughout the whole process making our stay even easier. I highly recommend this penthouse to anyone coming to PV. I will DEFINITELY be back!

I'm in the process of planning my 40th birthday in PVR. During a recent visit to PVR, I scoped out potential locations for the event. I was intrigued by Crystal's listing, but frankly didn't anticipate reserving it (I've been working with her to improve the listing since it really doesn't reflect how grandiose the Casa is). Crystal invited a group of my friends to visit the Casa while in town. From the first moment the door opened, I was in a state of shock and awe. When you walk in, you're immediately struck by the views and luxurious grand nature of the space. I decided in under a minute that my 40th birthday will celebrated here. And that was before the full tour. You really can't imagine how grand it is. Better pictures would show off the vastness of the views, plush furnishings and the luxurious bathrooms. Side note: I'm a regular Four Seasons aficionado who has visited over 70 countries and currently reside in San Francisco, so I have extremely demanding taste. I can honestly state that this condo is quite possibly the nicest villa I have ever set my eyes upon. After my friends and I ran around the place like giddy school girls, we were invited to enjoy homemade margaritas and appetizers that Santos had prepared. Since we had already been in Mexico for the better part of a week, it was shocking that the margaritas were the best we had on the trip and the food was "slap your knee" good. My 3-year old nephew took an immediate liking to Cecelia who has a grandmotherly vibe. The two of them were hugging it out before we could depart. The adults in the group had a few (ok 2+) margaritas while we took in the sunset. Quick note on location: The building is up the hill from town and you could walk it in about 25 minutes. Taxis are only $3 and a 5-minute cab ride from Los Muertos beach. The concierge called us a taxi when departing which arrived in under 2 minutes. Taxis in town are plentiful, and never hard to find. So, honestly, I would not let detract. If you don't have the benefit like me to inspect the place beforehand, just know that you really will be the talk of your group if you're the one who finds this gem. I have a reputation amongst my friends of having exacting taste with unrelenting expectations. Well, they could not have been further exceeded. Pick this place and you'll get to take the credit for clinching the perfect vacation :) Amazing views, delicious food, heartwarming staff! Do it :)

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful my recent visit was. Lest start with the property. It is absolutely stunning from the views to the attention to detail in all areas. The staff is nothing short of fantastic. Santos prepared so many mouth watering dishes I think I gained 10 pounds in 5 days. Miss Cecelia is the epitome of kindness and hospitality. No request was too great for the team. The property is immaculate and the staff ensures it stays that way. The views are amazing as well. I really could go on and on about how lovely the penthouse is but you will have to experience it for yourself. I know I will be back.
