Description of the Puerto Vallarta vacation condo rental
Beautifully upgraded 1 bedroom condominium in a completely remodeled (formerly Holiday Inn) Complex. Now called Torre Condominio Condomar and operated by SunScape Resorts. This "feels like home" condo is perfect for those on a limited budget. Want to spend a lot of money? Go to Mismaloya, the Marina or Nuevo Vallarta. Want to be on the ocean listening to the nightly rush of the tide, close to Starbucks, WalMart, Costco and a soon to open brand new mall next door at the Venetian and close to several other shopping centers and live like you do at home? this is perfect.

Complete with WiFi, 1 King Size bed, 1 fold out sofa sleeper, 1 floor sleeper chair, a couple of air mattresses, two televisions including a 50 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, dehumidifier, oversized refrigerator, dryer, steamer for clothes and an iron, drop dead gorgeous views of Banderas Bay and just so much more. All inclusives are available if wanted but not necessary.

So much fun to be had within the SunScape complex with full access to pools, gym, tennis, beach and many hotel activities. Just take the elevator down to the bar and every night is a party. Or just stay in and watch many movie channels in Spanish and English. but who cares? You're on vacation and you'll just gush after you've saved money yet lived so comfortably!

The testimonial guest book is must reading. There are so many great ideas and locations to visit during your stay including tours and great restaurants. Personally I love eating from the street vendors in Old Town. 10-15 pesos for the most scumptious carne asada tacos loaded with all the goodies.

If you are a surfer you have to take the bus (36 pesos) 40 km to Punta de Mita or to Sayulita but at times there is great boogey boarding on a small point right in front of the Venetian next door. Go see Ana or Joe at Mexican Malibu Properties right in the heart of El Anclote at Punta Mita and find perfect powder puff waves. You'll love it! You'll swear you're in Heaven!! You'll surf in turquoise 82 degree water with white sand beaches.

This condominium does not feel like a simple hotel room. It feels like walking into a home. Yet for less than a hotel room in the SunScape you can smile and use some of those savings on some great Margaritas or all-you-can-eat steak dinners in the Marina! You will definitely want to come back.

In 2012 Puerto Vallarta was rated as the 7th safest city in the world per Conde Naste. You can walk without fear up and down and even among the out of the way streets in the Romance District of Old Town. If you haven't visited Puerto Vallarta or Punta de Mita, this will not be your last.
Area Information
Two miles to the Marina and two miles to Old Town. Close to Walmart and Costco. Ocean front activities include para-sailing and jet ski rentals. Or, just lounge under one of the palapas on the private beach. Busses are fun to ride and run every couple minutes. Cost is only 8 pesos and just staying on the bus is just as good as a bus tour that you'll spend a ton on. Want to get off? another is just minutes behind. Avoid the taxis and save, save, save. Nothing better than a fabulous vacation without emptying out the bank account. This condo is perfect for retirees, singles and newlyweds.

This is the third time in the past four years my wife and I have stayed at Joe's place. Perfect location. Close to anything with a very easy and cheap bus or taxi ride. Many things are also walking distance. Great beaches, and so many great and inexpensive restaurants. We keep finding new ones each visit. My favorite place to vacation. The entire town is very friendly. Puerto Vallarta is so safe as you can feel comfortable exploring this great city. Joe is a great host and his condo is perfect for a one, a couple or small family.

We spent 8 days in Joe's condo & enjoyed every minute of it. The way this condo is set up, with the biggest kitchen I've ever seen in these condos is great! The design makes this place look so much bigger than the other condos in Sea River Towers. Plus, the great view!

The views and location are great!!! Holiday Inn's pool and beach are wonderful! You are within walking distance to everything you need, Costco, Walmart and 2 blocks to Soriana and mall. Restaurants close by, bus to town right outside of resort or you can walk. Bed is comfy, two flat screens, plenty of linen, except you could use a few nice kitchen linens and pans, silverware, etc. in the kitchen. Microwave didn't work, so we call the management fellow and received a new one the next day. We really appreciated the grocery cart and the laundry room in the Holiday Inn. We stayed 12 days and it was very, very reasonable. Loved having our coffee and meals on the lani, beautiful views of the ocean, resort and downtown PV. The unit was clean and we got right in upon arrival. Joe, the owner, was nice and great to work with. We totaly enjoyed our stay.

Owner's reply:

Thanks Judy. I'm so glad you had a great time. You are correct regarding the kitchen linens and older pots and pans and that has already been taken care of. Thank you for taking the time to write. Have a great rest of the year!

Can't believe we only stayed 4 days. We could live there even with our kids. This home was beautiful and so much fun and we felt like we stole it. We saved so much that we even took a tour that we didn't expect to be able to afford. The kids loved the beach, the pools, the poolside activities and watching the parasailing. We even saw dolphins playing offshore. When the old pirate ship went by and blew off its cannon we all jumped and then when the fireworks went off next door at the Friendly Hotel we all just ooohhhed and aaahhhed. Everything was so close. We just took a bus everywhere. Most enjoyable vacation ever!!! Can't wait to go back!!
