“Great spot for families with small children!”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2020

We had a wonderful time as a family recently at Eagle's Nest. It is well equipped for families with small children including a crib and high chair. The private portion of beach has sand which the littles loved and is warm water with a shallow entry so they could swim and play in the water while us adults enjoyed some cold beverages and sat just on the shore (which parents rarely get to do- just sit!). There is a tree near the beach so you can move just a bit on to the grass to get shade if desired. Dad enjoyed taking the kids out for beautiful sunset canoe rides. Smores by the fire pit were a nightly ritual. It was so good to catch up with one another and relax a bit. The layout of the house with all the bedrooms down one hallway makes noise transmission a bit... too good :) but that is probably because we came with five children under the age of seven! Adults hit up nearby Virtue Cider in Fennville for some adult time. Overall highly recommend and would love to visit again!!
