Punta Gorda Isles home, heated pool, and dock with 14,000 lb boat lift located on saltwater canal 1 minute by boat to beautiful Charlotte Harbor and the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Charlotte Harbor offers over 160 square miles of protected water and some of the best fishing in Florida. Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande Pass are known as the "Tarpon Capital" of the world.

This home is on one of the 'fingers' in the truly exclusive section above Marion, just a ½ block from Charlotte Harbor; so you can sailboat or paddle a kayak out in one minute.

So close that you can see the harbor from your backyard.
The double dock has a big boat lift, so bring or rent a sailboat or motor-cruiser for your stay. (No bridges to slow you down.)

The interior of this sunny 3-bedroom/2-bath house was recently completely re-modeled by a luxury South Florida builder and professionally decorated. It has a 'split' floor plan, with the Master on one side, and the other two bedrooms across the house.

The master has a king bed. The new master bath is huge; with double sinks, a separate deep oversized 'Roman' soaking tub, a huge walk-in shower enclosure (great for either a fun shower or someone who has mobility issues), a big walk-in closet, and a separately enclosed lavatory. Both the shower and the tub have shower massages.

The other two bedrooms share a bath with glass-enclosed combination shower-tub. One has a queen bed; the other is a combination office with hook-ups for computer, etc.

Big sliding glass walls open from the living room, bedroom, and eat-in kitchen to the pool. The back faces west so you can watch the sunset from most rooms and the pool or dock.

The pool is heated and completely screened in - so you can enjoy sitting outside on the high-end patio furniture.

The eat-in kitchen comes fully equipped with Cephalon pots, Analon knives, new designer dishes, new high-end small appliances, etc. You can sit at your breakfast table and view the boats.

The great room has another table that seats 6; plus 2 cozy couches and an 'overstuffed' chair for watching TV, reading books from the library, or just watching the sunset. There are several DVD players; and the "libary" already has some movie DVDs, music CDs, books, area guides, and some nautical books and charts.

Oversized 2 car garage; plenty of parking in the driveway.

Laundry room with washer and dryer, all linens are provided including beach towels.... and even beach chairs.

Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor offers over 160 square miles of protected water and some of the best boating and fishing in Florida, if not the world. Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande Pass are known as the "Tarpon Capital" of the world. Two rivers empty into the protected so you have the choice of fresh and salt water environments to explore. Sail, kayak, and fish! Mangroves and palm trees. Beaches, antiques, concerts, and outlet malls are all within an easy drive.

TRAVEL: Punta Gorda has its own airport; and in addition this home is only ½ hour north of Ft. Myers, and less than 1 hour south of Sarasota.

GREAT LOCATION: Unlimited shopping, antiquing, and cultural activities available within a ½-hour's drive. Ride a bike to nearby Fisherman's Village or the beach-park at the end of Marion.

SHOPPING: Less than 5 minutes to Fisherman's Village with cute shops and multiple restaurants. Lots more charming local shops and restaurants in the restored down-town. Several grocery stores, drug stores, banks, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot within 2-5 miles. Major shopping malls within a half-hour drive.

BOATING: Bring your sailboat or power boat or rent one nearby. Dock just steps outside this house on canal. Only a 1 minute boat ride to Charlotte Harbor with no bridges. A couple of minutes by boat or even kayak to Fisherman's Village. Just "around the corner" to the tarpon fishing at Boca Grande! There are many marinas and several boating and yacht clubs very nearby.

GOLF: Closest is the private golf course St. Andrews South, which is less than a 5 minute drive from house, and seasonal guests can obtain memberships.

RESTAURANTS: Fisherman's village and lots of great restaurants in the quaint down-town within a 5 minute drive.
