Reviews for this vacation home rental in Punta Gorda, Florida
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I rented this home from Dec. 19/14 to Jan. 15/15. It is a very nice home, centrally located. Shopping is close and some very nice beaches are about 40 min. away. One of the nicest beaches, Siesta Beach, is about 40 min away. It is a huge beach, free parking and the sand is like fine white sugar. Another good beach is Englewood beach. Not as nice as Siesta Beach but nice just the same. The house is very large and roomy. Kitchen is very nice. House was nicely equipped and well kept. The only drawbacks is the close proximately to a busy road, quite noisey. Other than a few things that needed some minor repairs all was good. All things considered, I would rent this house again.

January/February 2014 Bad Expierence

I rated this home one star, as that was as low as I could go. If I could have rated it lower, I would have. A lot of the items that are listed as being in the home, are not there. One of the four bedrooms has nothing but a bed frame and that is all. The dishwasher runs, but doesn't clean the dishes. Most of the furniture is very old and uncomfortable to sit on. The over size garage is big, but does not have the canoe or the kayak that it listed as being there. Nothing but junk and more junk. There was so many other things wrong with the interior and the exterior of this home to mention. Both the owner and the caretaker do nothing they say they are going to do, just tell you yes because they know that is what you want to hear, but do nothing. Like the old saying goes, "When buying a home, buyer beware"; but in this case, RENTER BEWARE.
Comfortable home in a beautiful location

We got back to Chicago late last night. We really enjoyed our trip to Florida and the house was perfect. The kids (ages 3 and 13) enjoyed the large back yard and the freedom being able to play outdoors in Dec./Jan. We found the house was equipped with everything we needed. We were able to entertain family and cook a nice meal for everyone. The owner was easy to deal with and very accommodating. The local property manager was friendly and professional when checking us in and out.
Nice Clean Vacation Rental

This was a relaxing rental. Conveniently located in a small quiet gated subdivision not too far from shopping and beaches. This home had all the modern conveniences, and was well equipped. The home featured granite counter tops, high ceilings, and a huge garage. Owner was very responsive and courteous. Would recommend this home for any vacationing family looking for a nice place to stay.
