Beautiful Home - Great Vacation Rental

October 6, 2011

This home is a beautiful gem within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk!!! The home is luxurious with immaculate updates. The house is spacious, inviting and warm. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (commercial oven, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker, coffee maker, double dishwasher, granite counter tops) for a cookout or breakfast including an outdoor grill. The family room is HUGE with beautiful, large bay windows!!!! We had a great time watching football and the boxing match on the HUGE HDTV. There are jacuzzi tubs in two bathrooms, along with a double spa shower in the master. There are 7 bedrooms - - - -plenty of space. There is a beautiful and quaint rooftop terrace that is great for relaxing in the evenings. We had a great time with our family and the house was ideal for our family and kids. The kids had plenty of space to run around. There is a lovely park near the house with a wonderful bridge over a river. We crossed the bridge and took the kids to the playground and the beach. There is even an outdoor shower to wash after going to the beach. A wonderful time was had by all!!!! We absolutely loved this house. The owner of the house is so helpful. He was available to call anytime for any questions. We really appreciated his attentiveness and loved this home!!!!

We had a terrific time staying at Mike's vacation home. It was as comfortable as home and a whole lot more!! We had everything we needed. There are many luxuries in this home. The showers are a real treat. The lighting around the home and within the home is beautiful and very relaxing! The home is exquiste. All of the beds were extremely comfortable too! You will be extremely happy, as we were, if you choose this as your vacation spot.
Mike made sure we had a wonderful stay. He was just a phone call away if there was anything that we needed. He really wants you to enjoy his place and you feel that from the moment you walk in the door!

Amazing Rehoboth Beach House

Date of Stay: 06/20/10 Review Submitted: 10/13/11

Amazing beach house. Quiet neighborhood, loved the rooftop deck for sunbathing and evening entertaining. Easy access to beach and all beach attractions. The house was immaculate, with modern facilities and a beautiful kitchen. Very spacious and lots of room for a large family however, as a family of 6 adults we appreciated being able to always find a quiet spot away from everyone to read, meditate or listen to music. The owner was very accommodating and always just a phone call away to answer questions and provide assistance.

Owner response:Ira, Nice to have met your whole Family this Summer 2011. Great to have some great People from PA to come to Rehoboth. As you know I grew up in Hanover PA. You have been great to work with and thanks for Everything! Mike Owner

We had a wonderful time in Rehoboth. The home was as described in the listing, the distance was a full 5 blocks,as mentioned, but the walk was easy through private streets. The owner is helpful, and in the area if help is needed. You are a few blocks from Starbucks and easy in and out of Rehoboth without getting caught on Rehoboth Avenue traffic. The home is upgraded with high-end fixtures
amenities (grill, double stainless sink etc..). It has 2 family sitting areas, and with 9-10 adults, it was very comfortable. We will come back to this property.

Owner response:Susan, Nice to have rented to you and your Family. I truly appreciate your comments on 505 New Castle from a True High End Builder and a Top Realtor from another area. You all understand first hand it is all about Good Communication that can make a Vacation not just good but makes it Great. Look forward to working with you all again! MICHAEL K. BOSLEY OWNER

Perfect house! Perfect location! Perfect vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed spending our vacation here. The house is very spacious, beautifully furnished, perfectly arranged, very clean and very well maintained. It easily accommodated my extended family of 12 people with room for more. The main floor has five bedrooms all on one level. This was the ideal arrangement for us as my elderly mother did not have to walk up and down any stairs. And we were all on one level which made for ideal family socializing. The beach and downtown area are an easy walk from the house. And the owner is extremeIy helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend renting this property to anyone as their vacation rental. My entire family would love to return next year!

Owner response:Kathy, Would like to take a minute to say THANK YOU for your kind words. I truly want to say how nice you and your Husband have been to work with concerning your Vacation. WOW. No expense was spared for this large beach house. Roomy, luxurious and close proximity to the beach and Rehoboth restaurants. This home is the ultimate beach getaway!! The rooftop deck is the icing on the cake - spacious and plenty of cushy beach chairs for laying out. And a high-capacity grill makes this the perfect beach getaway. This house does not disappoint!! We will be coming back next year!!

We were in Rehoboth Beach for my Step-Daughter's Weddings. We had family coming in and out for a week; for awhile we had 11 people staying with us. This is a GREAT House. Everyone loved it! It is very spacious with lots of room to be together or to get away from one another. The Master Bedroom is marvelous; the bathroom is bigger than my bedroom at home. The kitchen is well equiped and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, not like a hard hotel bed. The house is close to the beach, Rehoboth Ave and Route 1. Mike is great; he really cares about his tenants and his house. He's always available to assist you with anything you need. You will not be disappointed. If we ever make it back to Rehoboth Beach, we will look into renting this house again.

Owner response:Mary and Skip, You all were so positive to work with.....From the very first time we spoke I knew this was a good match......You all were the second family now that used 505 New Castle as a retreat for your Family while your children got Married! Rehoboth truly is a very unique place and it is only getting better......Thanks for taking care of my home and look forward to talking with you all in the future!!!

We were a group of parents with a few teenagers that rented this house for one week. Our sons were in a week long baseball tournament in Rehoboth and did not stay with us. We were glad! It was nice peaceful vacation in this beautiful home! The outside porches were wonderful to hang out on at night. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and have some downtime if they needed it. The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances, even washer and dryer were brand new. It was a short walk to the beach, and we felt safe to let the kids go by themselves. The house is located in a nice quiet area and the parking passes provided were a plus. Our security deposit was also returned to us quickly. It turned out to be a great vacation for all of us! We loved Rehoboth!

Owner response:Stephanie, It was nice to have met you all. It sure sounds like you had a great time! I get much enjoyment out of seeing Everyone this summer getting ready for their Vacations.....It almost makes me feel that I am on Vacation also to hear the excitment when Everyone is getting ready. You were great to work with. You always responded to my text or you were just a phone call away. if we needed to talk . I can not tell you as an Owner how I appreciate the way Everyone is leaving 505 New Castle...... Enjoy the rest of your Summer 2011. It sure is going fast..... Michael K. Bosley

Great Family Reunion House
Guest: The Hills (Annapolis, Maryland)
Date of Stay: 07/30/11 Review Submitted: 08/07/11

We just completed our family vacation/reunion/celebration at 505 New Castle with a party of 13 ranging in age from 5 to 80. The house was great and the owner's personal attention and responsiveness throughout the process --from a slew of questions during the rental hunting process, to his initial walk-through/tour upon entering the house on Sat. AM, to his follow-up on questions that arose during our visit-- was highly professional while also very personable. As the prior reviews state, the house was very clean, well appointed, well-maintained, and well laid-out for a group. The basement was great for the kids, while the roof deck was a regular gathering point for morning coffee and evening drinks. Its location made it a nice walk, and even shorter bike ride, to the beach and downtown, which was great for the teenagers in our group. The bedrooms were spacious and there were many rooms and corners for people to watch TV, play games, or read a book in relative peace. The neighborhood was very peaceful and the neighbor's nice. The 2 street parking passes were key. I would book the house again and will recommend it to others.

Owner response:Peter and Sabra, I can not believe how fast this Summer has flown by. It was nice meeting your whole Family while on Vacation in Rehoboth Beach staying at 505 New Castle. I appreciate your comments on my home and look forward to working with you on Vacationing in the future in any of my 3 homes here in Rehoboth Beach. Please pass onto your Family I said THANKS and keep in touch!

We had a terrific vacation with our extended family in August. Beautiful home is in a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to Rehoboth or Dewey Beach. Convenient location for restaurants and all the attractions on Route 1. Home was in immaculate condition and the owner went out of his way to insure we felt at home. Ample parking for 2 cars in driveway and 2 on street. Tremendous family room accomodated three families comfortably. Beautiful rooftop deck and outdoor shower. Wide streets with little traffic ideal for kids riding their bicycles.

Owner response:Linda, Glad to see you all had a great time at 505 NEW CASTLE. The wide Streets and NO cut through Streets makes Schoolview REHOBOTHS BEST KEPT SECRET....When Rehoboth is very busy this neighborhood seems very quite but just minutes to the center of it all! Also when a lot of Streets lead directly onto Rehoboth Ave which can take 1/2 hour to get to Route 1 we have our very own exit to get out to Route 1 directly. It only takes minutes to the Grocery Stores and the Out lets that does not charge Tax! SCHOOLVIEW is just one block to Basketball Courts large open spaces and a the nicest Play Grouds that the City built..... KEEP IN TOUCH! OWNER MICHAEL K. BOSLEY

I have been going to the shore for 15 years with my sister's family and sister-in-law's family. I have never stayed in a house as nice as Mike's. I'm sorry to say that it's much nicer than my own house. It seems brand new and in perfect condition and is huge with plenty of room for all 3 families. My wife and myself stayed in the smaller bedroom in the back. I slept wonderfully in a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning was great. Some times it was hard to venture outside and face the humidity and heat. I am a bicyclist and I really enjoyed biking across a little bridge over Silver Lake to get to the beach. The house has every modern appliance imaginable. We used them all, especially the gigantic TV in the living room. Try out this house. You will like it.

Owner response:I am very surprised how far people Travelfrom so many differant areas of the United States to Enjoy Rehoboth Beach....As I have said in the past with past guest, I truly enjoy trying to make your Vacation the BEST! I have learned that commication is key and I truly appreciate everyones comments on what I can do to even make it better....I truly listen and will always move forward on making Everyones stay even Better!

you never know what you are getting when you rent a vacation home sight unseen. Mike has provided many photos and it depicts what you get very well. Although we may have preferred being closer to the beach, with the two beach parking passes provided it was never an issue. It is really only a 12-15 minute walk to beach though, and if you walk directly east you meet the beach at the boardwalk, which we loved. The house was clean and well stocked. The master bedroom is huge with 2 king beds, kinda weird, we just used one. There is a fantastic shower in master and a wonderful closet and storage for clothing. 2 of the other bedrooms i would say, the other 2 king bedrooms, were beautiful. The 4th and 5th bedrooms are on the main floor have queen beds and just looked more dated, smaller, darker, but still clean. The other sleeping rooms are in the basement which is where the 3rd full bath is. It's a little dank and unpleasant down there due to the dehumidifier noise, less light and mildewy smell. Not sure i'd be comfortable sleeping down there. We really only needed 3 of the bedrooms. The washer/dryer is in the basement bathroom, new, frontloaders. Mike was good to work with, obviously cares a great deal about his homes. I also want to add how phenomenal the outdoor space is. The front covered porch is spacious, has wicker furniture, table etc and is very relaxing. The grill is right out the back as is the outdoor shower, which again is very nicely done. The outdoor deck is up a flight of steps only accessible from outside but has nice views, a big table that seats 6 and some lounge chairs. It also has a cute little bridge over to a separate deck over the front of the house, no furniture there though, you could probably move it if you wanted. The kitchen is gorgeous, the house is spacious, clean and beautifully done. We really felt right at home from the minute we walked in. Mike even allowed us to bring our two dogs which was really a blessing because our golden retriever died less than 2 months after that and we feel so happy that we didn't have to leave him behind and got to share that extra time with him. It was really nice of Mike! As i am writing this, i feel excited to come back, which we are considering. I would definitely rent this house again! We even got our whole deposit back which is rare.

Owner response:Randi and Family, I am glad you all had a great time on your Vacation and in my home. I appreciate your remarks about 505 and I have been doing everything in my power to give the best Vacation for the people who rent my homes......I have just come up with a WEB STIE for each of my properties. THEY ARE COMPLETE! You mentioned about the 2 large King Beds in the 24 x 25 1st MASTER BEDROOM. There are times when people love having them in the same room. When designing this home I created an open space on one level great for Family's or groups to beable to feel you can have your private area but at the same time feel unified....There are many areas for people to have their private area. You mentioned the lower level which I am buying a NEW Dehumidifier this week that is very quite! The lower level would only feel humid when someone turns off that machine and opens the windows. The people before did open the windows which would mix with the Air Conditioning and make it humid. Thank goodness that would be the only time it would feel that way.....If you all would like to come back let me know......This year is booking up very fast so let me know soon!

This house is beautiful, gorgeous, spacious and filled with luxurious amenities!!!!!!! My family and I wanted one last get away before the summer left. We had an wonderful time at this house!!!! The home is so lovely with beautiful large windows. The family room is huge and so is the HDTV which was enjoyed watching Sunday NFL football and the boxing match!!! The kitchen is luxurious with granite counter tops and a commercial stove/oven, microwave, double dishwasher and refrigerator with water/icemaker and coffeemaker. The men were excited to see the big grill in the backyard and eagerly competed with a grill master competition. The rooftop terrace was spacious and was great relaxing spot during the evening during the sunset. The home is so large with 7 bedrooms, most of which consists of king and queen beds. The bathrooms were very nice. There were two jacuzzi tubs and a double spa shower. The kids had a wonderful time. The home was very close to a large park with we accessed by walking across a bridge and watching turtles in the lake. We were also close to the beach and boardwalk. There is an outdoor shower for use when returning from the beach. The kids had a terrific time and so did the adults. The owner of the home was so nice and accommodating. He was very attentive to us and was available anytime we needed to ask questions about the area. We will definitely return. A great time was had by all!!!!

Stayed here at the beginning of the summer season 2012, and found the house to be a great group house, exactly as described and more. The pictures don't do the size of the kitchen or living room justice. Plenty of space to hang out and entertain while we were spending the week there. The upper deck was also put to good use, we were able to have comfortably several people sun bathing on the front deck, and another 10 or so on the back deck for dinner. The bedrooms were all spacious and had everything we needed. Bathrooms and kitchen all had luxurious finishes and nice details. Owner was available for any questions or concerns during our stay as well. Plan on staying again, I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a larger place to stay.

Owner response:Pierce, Thanks for your comments about 505 New Castle here at the Beach! It was nice to have met your group of Friends while you were all here. The weather over all was great and what a way to start off the Summer of 2012. Look forward to working with you all again......You should try to come down here in the fall too. It sure is nice! Take Care and have a great Summer!

Wedding week for youngest daughter

Date of Stay: 06/02/12 Review Submitted: 09/05/12

My family and guest rented the subject property from 2 June 2012 through 11 June 2012 the week before my daughters wedding on the beach 9 June 2012. Overall this was a very enjoyable week in a very nice house. I was impressed by the spacious family room and the well equipped kitchen which we used extensively along with the grille outside the back door. The 2 upper decks were very nice for sunning during the day and conversing in the cool night air. It was very conveinent to have the large washer and dryer on premisis with 2 grandchildren staying with us and beach clothes to launder. The ownwer was quick to answer all of our questions over a celol phone even if just about the local community. We had 12 folks living there most of the week and no one felt cramped. We parked five cars comfortably. My wife suggested some sort of shades should be intalled over the skylights in the master bedroom but I personally had no problem with the sun waking me up. Alll in all it was a great week.

This home is beautiful and perfectly set up for a large family vacation. We had 14 people, 3 different families and the grandparents. We each had our privacy in the nicely furnished rooms and the kids all stayed together in the rooms downstairs. We all enjoyed the master bathroom with the large jacuzzi tub and spa shower. We also enjoyed the set up of the kitchen/dining areas. All the adults were able to sit and enjoy our meals together and the children were able to enjoy each other during their meals. The area is perfect for kids. The street is quiet and there is a school near by where the kids could go and play. The upstairs decks are nice and private and we were able to enjoy the sun and evening time there. Mike was very accessible and checked in on us to make sure everything was good.

We are a family of 19 - my husband and I (the birthday girl), our 4 children and their spouses and our 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 1-15. This gorgeous 7 bedroom house was perfect for us. We all oohed and aahed when we walked in and saw the cavernous living room, DR, spacious kitchen, another DR and sitting area and 5 lovely bedrooms (1 had 2 king beds and an adjoining bathroom with large jacuzzi tub, gorgeous large shower and a walkin closet professionally designed.
Downstairs was a very large suite with 5 twin beds, 2 in one room and 3 in another, bathroom and washer/dryer. There was also and outdoor shower and a very large roof deck that we didnot use because it was so hot. There were 2 parking passes and we were able to combine walkers to the beach (10-15 min) with riders and sometimes drop off people. The beautiful community pool was a 5 min. drive away (no parking passes needed) and we all went back and forth between the two.
Allin all we enjoyed the house and our weeks vacation and would recommend this house to all.

Owner response:Rena, THANK YOU for all your comments on my home! I sure did enjoy talking with you since you made the reservation. This house was great for us. We were a combination of 4 families (20 total) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the basement with all of the twin beds. They called it their apartment. The master bedroom and bathroom are beautiful. We made good use of the rooftop deck in the morning for coffee and late night drinks. They most popular gathering place seemed to be the kitchen, which had plenty of seating for all of us. We will definitely rent here again. Thanks!

Great Family Vacation House!
Guest: JAN (Virginia)
Date of Stay: 07/21/12 Review Submitted: 08/18/12

We had a wonderful, relaxing vacation in this house a few weeks ago with 15 people (some couples, some singles, some teens and a baby). The house was very clean and very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to be together or sit off by themselves (the living room was huge!) There was plenty of seating at two good-sized dining tables so we could all enjoy evening meals together and a large kitchen so several people could cook together. It was great to have the nice big grill and outdoor shower out back and the extra sink and refrigerator in the bar area. It was a little too hot to use the roof deck much (though it was great for drying wet swimsuits and beach towels) but we did spend time on the big shady front porch, which had plenty of seating there too. The street is very quiet and ideal for families. The beach was a 15-minute walk (the boardwalk was just another 5 minutes along the beach) through a pretty little park. We enjoyed watching the turtles and geese in the stream from the little bridge. The parking passes were helpful when we had lots of things to take to the beach and for folks who wanted to go shopping. We also enjoyed the pool which was very pleasant, just a few minutes away and never crowded the times we were there. Mike was very responsive and tried to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great vacation - thanks!

Owner response:Both your Familys were the first ones to Book both 510 School Lane and 505 New Castle on the same week. After many years away I was finally able to swing a summer vacation week in Rehoboth this year. My friends and family arrived at 505 New Castle on Aug 4 and were blown away by the size of the home and its beautiful decor. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep, eat and relax, and we really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and easy access to Rt 1 and the beaches. Some of our favorite amenities were the infrared grill, the ice maker, the outdoor shower, and the absolutely huge master bath. I only wish the weather had been a little nicer so we could have taken advantage of the lovely rooftop deck. Thank you Mike for a fabulous vacation, and for making us feel right at home!

Owner response:Carlene, I truly appreciated all of your comments when we would talk from when we made the reservation and throughout this year leading up to your week of stay. You communicated wonderfully from that time up to check in and throughout your stay. I hope you get a chance to get back here to Rehoboth soon. It sure is a one of kind BEACH TOWN!
