Great cabin nestled in the woods. No homes in site. Wood burning fireplace perfect for cold nights. Easy drives to Luray, skyline dr. and wineries.

“Great Cabin!”

We loved this cabin! My wife and I were looking for a secluded weekend getaway that wasn't too far from DC and this was perfect.

Owner's reply: Glad to hear you loved the cabin! Look forward to having you back in the future. Andrea

“Peaceful Escape to Shenandoah”

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Falling Leaf cabin. Falling Leaf is a great place to unplug from the busy-ness of life and just relax. The cabin has enough space for a small group of people to relax and enjoy themselves while also sharing plenty of great views of the surrounding area. Falling Leaf provides easy access to many activities like hiking, kayaking, etc. while also providing seclusion if desired. We had a wonderful experience and would certainly consider returning in the future if our plans allow.

This was a great cabin to just get away from it all. Very relaxing and peaceful with just the right amount of amenities. Not having wifi or cell service was odd at first, but quickly became one of my favorite parts about the cabin. Loved it!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your wonderful review! Most cell service carriers and hot spots work at the cabin if internet is needed during your stay. Look forward to having you back in the future! Andrea

“Spring Break”

Our family loved our couple of days at this cabin. We traveled with two boys and our cocker spaniel and we all found that we could relax comfortably in this cabin. No surprises, the promotional pictures you see are just right. There was plenty of room to run around outside. The boys loved roasting marshmallows and we all relaxed in the hot tub; not our dog, of course. During the day, we took the short drive into Luray and ate and walked and visited the caverns. Angela was easy to work with and personally made sure we had all we needed while we were there. We would recommend to a friend or go back ourselves.

Owner's reply: Glad to hear your family loved the cabin. I look forward to having you back in the future!

“Wonderful cabin!”

We stayed at this cabin for a few days while we were visiting Luray and absolutely loved it! There is a nice view of the river and mountains through the trees from the back deck, we walked the dog down to the river every day, and had a fire in the fireplace every evening. The cabin was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for us and the dog. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and we will definitely stay here again!

Owner's reply: Glad you enjoyed the cabin. Thank you and I look forward to having you back! To all future customers the view of the river is seasonal, early October to March. The Mountain view is year round.

“romantic weekend getaway”

Our stay at Falling Leaf Cabin was great. It was very clean, nicely decorated. The hot tub was relaxing on the lower deck, and it felt pretty secluded. there were cabins in the area, but you couldn't see them due to the folliage and trees. We cooked out on the grill and sat on the back deck which has a glider and rocker. Lots of woods and private. Your typical stores like Walmart aren't far away and it's close to Luray Caverns. The kitchen is fully equipt with a nice fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and range/oven. Dishes (modern), silverware are included. Good shower. Natural light filters in through skylights and windows. Nice!

This little cabin is wonderful. VERY clean and comfy. Excellent soft queen beds. It was a quiet comfortable cabin in the woods. Two nice decks to sit out on, one upper level off back of cabin over looking woods and one at ground level with the hot tub. I just enjoyed sitting and reading. It was the perfect place for relaxing. exactly what I was looking for in a retreat. Owners are extremely nice. My dog loved the cabin. (didn't like the open stairs but since we slept in basement (very cool down there) this wasn't a problem.
