Over thousands of years, the swift currents of the Nantahala River have slowly carved an incredible gorge in the mountains of western North Carolina. Minimum age for single inflatable ducky rentals is 9 years old. They do have options for smaller children as well.
If you do a search for 'Nantahala River', it will pull up many different rafting companies for you to choose from.

Great Smoky Mountain Railroad if you love old time railroad rides here is the best of the best. With their main depot in Bryson City only 40 minutes from the cabin you can also board the train in Andrews or Dillsboro. This cabin is great! Right on the creek and cabin is clean, new and comfortable. Only problem was it was too cold to fish ;-)
