“More than what we expected”

Great cabin in nice, quiet location. Visit Mount Rushmore. Hike to Harney Peak. Eat or have a beer at Moonshine Gulch Saloon. We enjoyed it all.

“nice”

We all had a good time at this nice place. We all road bikes and the dirt road was no problem, would rent. Again when we go back. Delbert hunt.

“Home away from home”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2013

This was our 2nd time of staying at Pine Meadows during the Sturgis Rally. And once again, we were thrilled with our choice. Very clean, easy access, peace & quiet, and fantastic views of the mountains. It is so reassuring to know that the property managers, Glenda & Dean, go out of their way to make the stay at the cabin memorable. We are so looking forward to returning in the future. We have told quite a few people about this place. Whether you are staying just one night, one week or a whole month, we are sure you will also feel right at home. We would also like to thank the owners for sharing this fabulous getaway.

“Solitude in the hills”

We really enjoyed the cabin and it's setting. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the pond and we loved being so close to the Mickelson bike trail. The owner was very pleasant and replied quickly to the request. The host was very nice.

“Black HIlls Getaway a must!”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2012

Our recent experience at the rental cabin was very nice. The cabin was in very good condition very clean and in an incredibly beautiful setting. Our experience with the care taker was very pleasant. The dryer was not working at the time, but we had been given notice and it really didn't cause us any problems. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to relax and enjoy the cabin and the peaceful setting. We are definitely planning on staying again on our next trip to the Black Hills. We have and will recommend this property to friends and family. M Bruns

“Great spot to see the Black Hills”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2010

We had a great time in the black hills and the cabin was fantastic. There is a beautiful creek running just out the back that my 5 year old loved walking and wading in, with a nice trout pond (we caught a few in there in the limited time we spent fishing). The cabin was a perfect size for us a family of four, and the location is beautiful and secluded but still very central and easy to get to all the Black Hills attractions. The drives on the forest roads around there are spectacular as well and the gravel roads were in excellent shape.

“family vacation”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2010

The cabin I rented was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The property owner was quick in responding to my question and the property manager was very friendly and checked on us after our first night to see if we needed anything. There is a lot of open space and trails that run along creeks that make it very relaxing and enjoyable. We had deer that came right up to the cabin every morning. This location is right off the highway that you take to Custer, Keystone, Rapid City and Deadwood. The only draw back that there was is the minerals in the water prevent you from being able to drink it and has an odor, but the seclution and comfort of this cabin is worth the trade of using bottled water. I would stay here again.

“Sturgis Vacation 2009”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2009

The house was great, and the views are awesome. There were 6 of us there for the Sturgis Rally, only drawback to the house for us was the dirt roads. It would be a great spot to stay if you were there for a family vacation in a car.
