Description of the Rome vacation apartment rental
The vacation apartment is located on the ground floor of a 17th century palazzo on via della Vetrina, just steps away from Piazza Navona.

The apartment is a veritable architectural gem that, thanks to careful renovation, has maintained the structural elements from the 17th century contrasting with modern materials like glass and steel. 5 meter high ceilings with stunning vaults in the living room and bedrooms, as well as an original spiral staircase in roman brick which provides another access for the lower floor serve as testimony to the ancient past of this palazzo. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning (starting in April 2015).
You're welcomed into a large living room divided into an living room and a dining space. In the living room there are 2 sofas, one in leather and the other a sofa bed for 2 (with a luxurious 18cm memory foam mattress) where you can relax with a 40" flat screen Sony TV with SKY, DVD/blu-ray player and docking station. There is a modern kitchen in colored glass in the dining area, with cabinets and drawers with sleek hidden opening mechanisms, and a large dining table to host all the guests in your party.
The first bedroom off the living room has a single bed and was designed with your little ones in mind, with colored walls and stickers. There is also a sink they can use or for the parents to give the baby a bath.
We continue from the living room and find the first of three baths in the house, with a tub and prune colored walls.
Further ahead is the master bedroom, with a double bed, TV and bath ensuite. The bath ensuite features a shower with a large rainshower.
In the corner of the master bedroom you'll find the spiral staircase from the 17th century that provides access to the mezzanine crafted in glass and runs along the perimeter of the room. In the mezzanine there is a single bed and a closet with the same curved design.
Now we'll take the spiral stairs down from the ground floor to the finished basement. Here you'll find a real treat. A game room with foosball table, air hockey and magnetic dart board, where you can pass your roman evenings with friendly competition between your family and friends. Next to the game room is another spacious bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and bath ensuite with a shower. From this bedroom there is another, larger staircase that leads to the living room.
There is a courtyard garden off the living room, with outdoor seating and an electric sun shade to offer privacy from the floors above. Lush ivy climbs the walls of the garden providing refreshment to hot summer days.

Every detail of this vacation home has been crafted to provide our guests with comfort and quality: from the sleek LED lights to the piped stereo system throughout the house (including the bath!), from the memory foam mattresses to the washing machine, dishwasher and complimentary wifi internet.

Area Information
We can't emphasize enough just how centrally located this vacation home is; you're just steps from Piazza Navona and Campo de' Fiori, a short walk from Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's Basilica, and practically around the corner from the Pantheon and corso Vittorio Emanuele. The city of Rome pivots at Piazza Navona, the true heart of Rome, making all of the most famous sites within a walkable distance.
But what is particularly unique about it's position? Let's take a look at a few examples. Along the same via as the apartment, via della Vetrina, are located some of the most interesting hidden gems the city has to offer. You'll find the restaurant Etabli just few meters from the apartment, where you can enjoy Sunday brunch sitting next a crackling fire in the fireplace. Continue in the same direction and you'll arrive at the historic Bar del Fico. If you pass by in the morning you'll see the local grey-haired community involved in games of chess. If you pass in the afternoon or evening, you'll see fashionable young crowd fill up the piazza for an aperitivo or just to relax with friends and be seen. Continue toward Piazza Navona and you'll happen upon Caffè della Pace, in its Liberty style since 1890.
Still have any doubt for why to choose Piazza Navona?
