The large living room has a flat-screen TV with a very comfortable, conversation and TV viewing area.
We have a wonderful, large, pool and deck that includes a new propane grill and new four-chair dining set for special outdoor evening dining.

Rotunda West is a peaceful, planned community situated near the beautiful Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida. It is located mid-way between Sarasota and Fort Myers. Three bridges link Rotonda to the surrounding mainland. To the south is a protected wetland populated by alligators, great blue herons, egrets, bobcats, raccoons, gophers, turtles and other native species. If you enjoy seeing wildlife in their natural settings, you’ll love it.
We are just minutes from the beautiful beaches of from Manisota Key. Manasota Key is a barrier island off the coast of Englewood; known as the “Gem and the Heart of the Sun Coast”, “a bit of Heaven on Earth”, “a place unspoiled by high rises and high prices”, and “where the “livin” is easy”.
The popular Englewood Beach lies just over the south bridge and features a boardwalk, picnic tables under shelters, restrooms and changing facilities. Restaurants and tourist shops are located nearby. A couple of miles south lies the more secluded Stump Pass Beach, part of Florida’s state park system. The park claims the entire southern end of the key. Visitors can explore the mile-long beach and hike the trails where tortoises and egrets call home.
North of Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach is a great place to search for shark teeth. The beach also includes a nature trail that meanders through mangroves and sand dunes. Farther north, Manasota Beach offers tranquility and is a popular snorkeling area. Boogie boards, noodles and beach balls are welcome. Be sure to take the time to visit the spectacular beaches of San Pedro Island State Park by ferry.
Boat and jet ski rentals are available nearby if you wish to get on the water.
Bring the sticks! There are six golf courses in the immediate neighborhood! All are operated by Rotonda Golf and Country Club. In my opinion, the best course within Rotonda is Long Marsh - tough and long. The Palms is good fun and relatively open, the Links is an "executive" short course but is great fun and good for tuning your irons and short game.
There are several close water-front restaurants where you can dine while overlooking the intracoastal waterway, watching the boats, dolphins, and the occasional manatee.
The gulf waters near Rotunda West offers some of the most productive year-round waters found anywhere in the US. This breathtaking scenic area offers everything a beginning or advanced angler could want including freshwater and brackish river mouths, mangrove lined salt creeks, expansive grass flats, miles of oyster bars, many deep water passes, holes and even offshore wrecks, reefs and other structure.
Enjoy a theater production at the Lemon Bay Playhouse in quaint, nearby Englewood. Or, just 20 minutes away shop the boutiques in Venice. Enjoy a cocktail, dine, and people-watch at one of the many sidewalk cafes there.
Located 55 minutes north are the restaurants, shops, galleries and nightlife around Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Sarasota. Selby Gardens is one of the premier botanical gardens in the US and Sarasota's Ringling Museum is a world-class art museum. To the south, the many wonderful activities available in Ft Myers are only one hour away.
Rotunda West is located within easy access to three major airports: Sarasota, Tampa, and Fort Meyers. Orlando & Disney World is exactly two and a half hours away.
