Description of the Rotonda West vacation condo rental
Our first floor spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and fully-equipped two-bedroom, two-bath condo has an up-to-date kitchen with all appliances, breakfast bar, complete dining room, full-size washer and dryer, large outdoor lanai, ceiling fans throughout (air conditioned too, of course), cable TV and covered parking. It is located in the northwest quadrant of Rotonda, close to Golf Courses of every skill level and 10 minutes to the Boca Grande, Englewood or Stump Pass beaches. The condo development (Tall Pines) has a 20 x 40' heated pool, tennis court, and clubhouse. Minutes to golf, beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Room and things-to-do for everyone!
Rotonda is located on the Cape Haze peninsula, almost equally North of Fort Myers and south of Sarasota. Golf courses within Rotonda include the Palms, Hills, Long Marsh, Pinemoor and Cape Haze Links. We are close to North Port, Venice and Punta Gorda, and only 1/2 hour to Sarasota. Restaurants nearby satisfy every taste from Pizza and Beer to Martinis and Stone Crab. Watch the sunset from the Gulfview Grill or Sharky's on the Venice Pier. Shop at Fishermen's Village in Punta Gorda or go to downtown Venice. Go to Sarasota for St.Armand's Circle, the Mote Aquarium, G-Wiz Museum, Selby Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Garden, the ballet, symphony, or opera. Just down the road is the Charlotte Sports Park, home to the Tampa Bay Rays spring-training and the Charlotte Stone Crabs High-A baseball teams in the summer. Englewood Parks contain an olympic-sized swimming pool, "awesome" (according to our grandson) skateboard park, and nature trails. Historic Boca Grande (Banyan Street, lighthouse, beaches, beautiful homes, restaurants) is nearby also. Hang out at the four beaches on Manasota Key or visit the Number One Beach in the World: Siesta Key Beach. Or go to Disney World, two hours away.
