Description of the Rumney vacation home rental
This is one of the newest homes on the lake with craftsman style and incorporating a double porch flanked with stone columns and tall cedar logs. This beautiful. comfortable home has all the amenities, including central air conditioning, internet, cable tv, indoor sauna, It is a clean, dry environment with all hardwood floors or tile floors, (no musty smells here). Kayaks and canoe provided.
This beautiful 1+acre property with 225 feet of lakefront, offers views of the lake and mountains, with spectacular sunrises. It has 2 beach areas one private directly in front of the home and the other at the dam an area that is shared with neighbors 75 feet, since the property extends all the way to Stinson Lake Dam. Perfect for family vacationing. Swim out to the floating dock, Take a ride in the canoe or kayaks. Sit in the sauna with views of the lake. Sit on the huge covered porch looking out at the beauty of Stinson Lake. At night, enjoy spectacular star gazing while listening to the sounds of the water fall at the on property Stinson Lake Dam. Stinson Lake is considered the jewel of New Hampshire by many you can make many wonderful memories here in this beautiful home.In the lakes region near Newfound Lake, Squam Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee. Surrounded by the White Mountains, our waterfront home lies directly on Stinson Lake, one of the cleanest, most pristine lakes in the lakes region.

The house has three floors, you walk from the main entrance into the main floor where there is the master bedroom and bath with a queen bed and another queen bedroom with a full bath in the hallway. The kitchen with granite and stainless appliances, living room and dining area are also on the main level. Upstairs is the loft with a half bath queen bed and full bed. Downstairs is a living area, a queen bedroom, a full bath and a futon / bunk area. The huge outstanding porches are the focus of entertainment. There is a wonderful outdoor shower. This custom home is less than 10 years old. It is a year round home on paved street.

Bring your own motor boat, jet skis, etc. launch them from Lake launch around the corner and dock them at our 24' dock.


3 televisions all flat screens , wireless internet, stainless steel appliances, spacious sauna with view of the lake, kayaks, canoe, dock for your boat, raft.


There is a canoe and four kayaks on the property available for renters to use. There is a 24' dock that accommodates a motorboat or sailboat. Feel free to bring your own boat which can be launched around the corner at the Stinson Lake Store. More Kayaks and canoes are available to rent at the store as well.

Nature Abounds...

Stinson Lake is well stocked with excellent fishing. Loons live on the lake. Herons and osprey often come in for a landing on 'the point' and there have been several moose sightings at daybreak. Hike trails which are part of the White Mtn Nat'l Forest, just up the road. Walk 2 miles to a nearby waterfall. Stinson Mtn is a 1.5 mile hike with great views and right down the street. Rumney Rocks, well known to climbers is about four miles down the hill. Hiking paths all around because we are surrounded by the White Mt. National Forest.

- Multiple shopping opportunities in the area include supermarkets: Hannaford's, Super Walmart, Marshalls, CVS, bookstores, gift shops and antiques. The Tilton Outlets are 45 minutes away.

- Many golf courses in the area including,Two 18-hole golf courses and an Executive Par 3 course within a half hour drive
