“A Little Bit of Heaven!”

What a lovely vacation! Even though we were there on July 4th weekend, the beach was lovely! We were able to have our dog there with us on the beach. The property was lovely, very clean. We would've liked to have outdoor seating, but the walk to the beach was so short, that we went there for sunset and sunrise. Thank you for a great vacation!

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for the wonderful review please come back to stay again

“Perfect Maine Cottage”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2013

This little cottage (and its owner) could not have been more sweet. The owner went wa-a-ay out of her way to be kind and make us feel at home, even coming over to turn on lights and the gas fireplace when she discovered we had been delayed and would arrive after dark on a cool Maine night. The home is an older beach cottage, but it is full of character, color and charm. We loved it. From the deck you can see the ocean, and I fell asleep each night to blinks of color from not one, but two distant lighthouses! Steps from the ocean, and several mornings we walked to the mouth of the Saco River to watch the lobstermen and fishermen heading out to sea for a day's work. We arrived 'out of season' so were treated to peace and quiet. I would have liked bicycles a little newer, and a bike for kids. The roads are perfectly flat and it would've been so fun to ride. I was uncomfortable not having blinds or curtains to cover all the windows at night, but the lacy lighthouse blinds are lovely! It is a short walk to a beach that is 'swimmable' and wide. We had a ball!

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for the wonderful review, I will get that curtain for the picture window before season starts , you and your family are welcome anytime
