“Condo in Ocean Village Club”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2015

The condo (P34) was clean and neat. The location was great, with access to the beach and close to St. Augustine. Check-in and Check was easy. The unit is older and could use some updating. The carpets in the bedrooms should be replaced as they are old, stained and outdated. The main living area is nice with hardwood floors (appears to have been updated recently). Overall a nice condo and good location, but it needs some further updates.

Owner's reply: Thanks Jeff... we will replace them as soon as possible. We appreciate you letting us know.

“WONDERFUL VACATION CONDO”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2014

We stayed at this condo last year and absolutely loved it, so we booked it again for our recent visit as well. It's a wonderul condo filled with everything you could possibly need. Great location!!! We'll absolutely be back again!!!!

“Lots of Fun”

We had a great time on our vacation! The condo was extremely nice and being so close to the ocean was terrific! We thought the value for the money was great and would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.

“Relaxing Stay”

Reviewed 7 Apr 2014

We spent the month of March at Ocean Village Unit P34. Our condo was clean and well equipped. It was quiet, reasonably priced and was just as it was portrayed in the rental ad. The people staying at Ocean Village were truly some of the friendliest people we've met in Florida. We totally enjoyed the experience just from that standpoint. The furniture in the living room and bed in the Master bedroom were a little tired looking, and somewhat uncomfortable, so I would say an update is in order for those. We enjoyed every part of our stay, though. The view from our deck was beautiful, and our only disappointment was that there was no sun on the deck ever! Having escaped the Wisconsin winter, we were craving sunshine! We would stay at Ocean Village anytime!!

“Condo P34 review”

Reviewed 26 Nov 2013

We enjoyed the condo. It was clean, tastefully furnished and had a wonderful view of the water. The community was immaculate and a pleasure to view. Negatives for me were the small gym at the club house and a microwave that needed updating. Other wise we greatly enjoyed our stay.

“P34”

The condo was as pictured. Nice partial ocean view on balcony with a nice ocean breeze. Very easy access to both pools and the private walkway to beach. Restaurants and shopping were only minutes away-Salt Water Cowboys is a great spot for seafood. Both the management co. and the owner are very nice and easy to work with. We will be back.

“Splendid Stay at Summerhouse”

Reviewed 14 Oct 2013

Spent a great week at Summerhouse in Crescent Beach. Will definitely come back, maybe for a longer stay.

“Comfortable”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2013

We were comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. That speak volumes. This is not a new unit but it is very clean, well cared for and has everything you need right down to a wine opener. It is close to the beach and morning coffee on the balcony is really nice with the ocean sounds in the back ground. We did not bring our pets this trip but the condo is pet friendly and I was surprised that there were no reminders of other pet's visits; inside or out. There is not an elevator but after you get everything in that was not a problem for us and we are both retired in our late sixties. The area has a good number of good restaurants close by and of course the downtown area is loaded with them. If you find you need something you forgot or ran out of, there is about every name brand of shopping not very far away. We were dismayed about the forecast calling for rain but it rained in the afternoon for less than a half hour and dried up quickly. If you enjoy driving on the beach that is permitted with easy access close by. There is a nice boardwalk leading over the dunes to the beach with showers at the entrance when you come back from the beach to rinse off the sand.. There are plenty of walking areas for either a morning walk or after dinner stroll either on the hard packed sand or walkways in the gated complex. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the late winter for a break from the cold gloom. If you run out of reading material they have quite a collection there. There is a lot to do and see in this very historic area. A bit commercialized but I guess you would expect that on vacation.

“Wonderful Vacation”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2013

This is the first time we had rented a condo and this vacation ended up being one of our better ones. The gated community made us feel safer and it was close to everything. The condo was quiet, very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Being able to cook meals and stay in when we wanted was a real plus. The grounds are very well maintained and the beach is just beautiful. P.S. We wanted to bring the comfy king bed home with us ;)

“Awesome beach enjoyment”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2013

The condo was great , clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Waking to the sounds of the ocean and the beautiful sunrise every morning was a really memorable experience. We took advantage of the great kitchen with all we needed to prepare meals and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mornings. A nice short walk to the beach and the pool made it easy to enjoy that part of our stay. Everyone was very helpful and eager to make our stay a great one. Being in the healthcare field, the one thing I noticed might be helpful for the future safety of guests, would be to install a handrail in the baths and showers. Most accidents that occur in the home are in the bath, this would be a quick and easy fix to prevent falling in the tub. I could not have asked for a better vacation than the one I had there.
