Description of the San Antonio vacation guesthouse rental
This charming, 18th century bungalow in the downtown historic Lavaca/King William neighborhood can be rented by the day, the week, or the month. Fully furnished, it is walking distance of the Alamo, 4 blocks from the River Walk, only blocks from La Villita, and features a view of the Hemisfair Tower. Walk or take a trolley to all major fiesta activities or to sports events at the Alamodome! This home is located on a quiet side street, but still only steps away from nightlife, live music and restaurants.

The downtown location makes it convenient to all major highways, which means easy access to Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, or the airport.

The full kitchen is stocked with everything you need except groceries to prepare family meals, entertain, or plan a romantic dinner in.

Area Information
This property is located in the Southtown region, the city's burgeoning arts and culture area, which includes the neighborhoods of Lavaca, King William, and Baja King William. It is just south of the downtown hotel zone, a few blocks from Alamo Plaza. The King William area is the oldest historic district in San Antonio, famous for 19th century mansions of the city's founding fathers. It houses the state's only National Trust site for Historic Preservation.

Southtown is known as the city's creative center, home to artists, actors, and writers. A number of restaurants, clubs, and live music venues are located on South Alamo Street, which is one block away from the featured residence. Rosario's restaurant, a favorite for visitors, is two blocks from the home.

"First Friday" artwalk and open air fair takes place on South Alamo Street the first Friday evening of every month. During Fiesta, this is the site of several important events, including the King William Parade and the King William Art Fair.
