San Clemente Beach Vacation

For our spring break vacation, we wanted to try a beach experience. We wanted to be close enough to the beach to have easy access, but not so close that everyone is on your property. Lisa's condo filled the bill perfectly. The condo is spacious and has been wonderfully updated. It has 3 comfortable bedrooms (we only used 2), spacious kitchen, dining, and living areas, and killer views. Everything in the condo was brand new and decorated very nicely. It was great for relaxing. We were on a bluff overlooking the ocean and could hear the waves crashing below. The view alone was worth the stay. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes (downhill was easier than uphill), The walk from the beach access to the San Clemente pier is about a mile, and is absolutely enjoyable. We walked it a few times and had breakfast/lunch at the pier and did some shopping along the main old downtown strip. The complex itself does not have amenities. You generally need to drive to restaurants. The complex is not new, but is well maintained, neat, and tidy. The underground parking is handy. The only negative we could come up with was that the hot tub was not hot at 8:00 am. I think they turn the heat on at 8:00 am when it opens. We had a great time at this condo, especially since we wanted to spend a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the beach. We would come again.

Nice view is the best feature of this property. Balcony furniture needs to be replaced and is very rusty and broken. Second bedroom futon is noisy and uncomfortable. Train is close and goes by every 20 minutes. Noisy traffic too. Owner/property manager did not notify us that elevator would be shut down for 3 days. Tsk, Tsk!

Tina's home is beautiful! We felt like we were right at home! The house was a 5 min. walk to the beach and had everything we needed ! Pictures don't do it justice!
