Description of the San Diego vacation condo rental
This spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath condo is nearly 1500' of tranquil oasis. Completely remodeled in 2006, it boasts a large west facing lanai deck overlooking San Diego's active harbor, airport and scenic city skyline. Spectacular evening sunsets create a beautiful panorama of red, orange and yellow as the sky turns to black and the twinkling city lights emerge below. Frequently throughout the year special events launch fireworks over the harbor creating a spectacular show from your dining & living room windows.

The entire home is beautifully appointed. The living room is accented with classic 1940's art deco tropical rattan, complete with Copa Cabana style bar set. The furnishings are the only things which are vintage! Recent remodeling upgrades included kitchen task lighting, an electric range with double oven, GE Profile Microwave, side by side refrigerator, dishwasher and built in 24 bottle wine rack (wine not included :) Pots, pans, crock pot, blender, toaster oven, kitchen tools, linens and even a chef's apron are included.

Walls throughout the home are colorful in muted tones which compliment the furnishings perfectly.

Each bedroom has it's own attached full bathroom.
The master bath has a separate sink vanity area; a separate water closet: toilet and Roman style oversized bathtub.
The guest bath also has a separate vanity area which houses this units European style stacked washer/dryer.

Light, bright and sunny, the master bedroom has east facing windows which catch the morning light, and the bells of the surrounding churches. The second bedroom has a twin pop-up trundle bed which can sleep two people, and a task desk (printer and fax machine available upon request). The large north facing window makes this a bright and sunny room too.
The master bedroom offers a huge closet with plenty of shelving. The bedding is a premium grade pillow top mattress with high thread count pure cotton linens.

Everything you can imagine for a "complete" move-in is included in the rental, i.e. kitchen gear, coordinated bath and bedroom linens.
This condo also includes:
Complete gourmet picnic basket for trips to Balboa Park or one of San Diego's beautiful beaches.
Sand chairs, beach towels, Igloo ice chest.
2 Golf bag handcarts for walking any of SoCal's amazing courses!

In the buildings courtyard area: 2 gas grills; oversized Jacuzzi spa.

2 parking spots in the gated underground garage, and plenty of street parking is available for your guests....unlike anything else in the Downtown, Gaslamp or Little Italy neighborhoods.

2 elevators in the center of the building; shopping carts to move things from your car to the unit.

Located just 3 miles from the San Diego International airport, I suggest you leave your car parked in the buildings secure garage and simply take a cab to and from the airport for under $20 each way-- and that includes tip!
And speaking of the airport, this condo has a spectacular view of all the planes landing....they are a silent sight to behold as they whistle by the picture windows.

This treasure is located in the heart of the city, yet offers up a calming escape from the urban hub-bub.
Centrally located in Banker's Hill, 1 mile from the gateway of downtown's Gaslamp Quarter; 7 blocks to world renowned Balboa Park with it's zoo, museums and miles upon miles of scenic walk ways through some of the most dazzling landscaping California has to offer! Scattered around this re-energized neighborhood are coffee houses, world class restaurants, banks and shops.

Downtown San Diego's main boulevard, Broadway, is exactly 1 mile down the hill to the south. Being so close, yet up on Banker's Hill, is what gives this home it's spectacular skyline view.
FYI: The neighborhood is called Banker's Hill because it truly was the home of the rich downtown bankers. The surrounding streets are peppered with mansions of all kinds, an architectural feast for the eyes (and the occasional movie production).

Little Italy, with it's weekly Saturday Farmer's Market, is just 8 blocks down the hill. Hillcrest,an exciting Uptown neighborhood is just 1.5 miles north.
In a nutshell, this neighborhood has it all!

Entrances to Highway 5 north or south are less than a 5 minute drive, so getting around this beautiful city is a breeze from this location.
