We loved our two night stay at this property! The owner was extremely helpful with all the details in our planning. He took much time with me on the phone and email to explain the property, location and places to eat. Everything was just as I was told. I didn't want to stay in the city due to the cost and the additional cost of parking in the city. He said there was ample parking on the street and we never had a problem finding a spot. The beach is beautiful and the Golden Gate park only a few blocks away. We were a group of 6 females and felt very safe. The apartment was perfect...comfortable beds and great linens and blankets. I Ioved being just outside the city with easy access to all the spots you wouldn't want to miss.
“Apartment just as described”
We stayed in the apartment for a long weekend. Apartment was very easy to find and working with the owners was very easy. The kitchen was fully stocked and would was great for our trip. Was very nice to be close to the beach and to restaurants that are in the area. Would highly recommend staying here if you find our self in San Francisco.
“Great Home Away from Home”
Wonderful home away from home for our family of four, plus two dogs for two months. This house has everything you could ever want or need. It is cozy, warm and close to everything in the area from the beach to downtown SF to the peninsula and east bay. Day trips are a breeze from this home and finding the best San Francisco has to offer is just minutes away. The home owners were welcoming and most helpful. We found the house very easy to maintain while enjoying all the area has to offer. The pictures are exactly as we found the home. We loved taking walks down the street to the beach and make sure you explore all along the shore from the Zoo to the Cliff House to the Golden Gate Bridge. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.
“Awesome place to stay”
Rented this flat for a visit to see my daughter. Great location, 1 block from the ocean. Quiet and safe location. The rental was clean and well appointed. Kitchen featured great appliances, pans, dishes.. Only wished there was a microwave. Furnished with quality furniture and electronics; comfortable and cozy. Suggestion to upgrade sheets to equal quality of other amenities of this rental. Jacob was great, always available to answer any questions/concerns during our stay. Extra perks w/ free passess provided to California Academy of Science. Will definitely stay again when visiting San Francisco.
“Home Away From Home”
We found the rental extremely clean with a well stocked kitchen--lots of pots and pans including condiments for cooking. There was a large assortment of children's books and games and family DVDs for our enjoyment. This was an ideal spot to have an intergenerational experience. Our two grandsons loved walking the few blocks to the zoo. We were pleased to not have to look and pay for a parking spot there! Our 8 year old grandson found a sand dollar on the beach in front of the house. We highly recommend this rental for couples or families who wish to have a wonderful San Francisco experience. We all loved the quiet neighborhood! No sirens or hovering helicopters at night that we have experienced in other San Francisco locations. The people in the upstairs apartment were quiet. Jacob was an especially attentive "landlord", although we never met him in person. He contacted us before our arrival and once by cell phone after we had settled in.
“great place to stay for beach and city”
The apartment was as advertised, very comfortable and exceedingly well kept and well equipped. Lovely being so close to the beach. Jacob was extremely helpful and friendly and the passes to the zoo and the science museum were a boon. We enjoyed our stay very much.
“Perfectly comfortable and convenient!”
My family of five (ages 23 - 63, males and females) stayed here during our first visit to San Francisco. It was a great choice! We easily walked, drove or caught public transportation to numerous sites and then rested well at the end of every busy day in the comfortable accommodations. Jacob is a great host, sharing suggestions for "must see" attractions and discounted admission tickets with his guests. We hope to return to the city and the apartment soon!
Our family took our first vacation in years and stayed at this perfect apt 1/2 blk from the beach, 1 1/2 blks from the muni train, which goes right into union sq, quaint coffee house hang out is right there too. We liked this set-up because at the end of the day of touring the city, we could go back to the peace and quiet of the apt and everything we needed was there for us. Super clean, affordable comfortable, convenient. We felt so lucky to have found this vacation spot. My one and only "issue" is the beds were too small. We aren't large people but a full size is just too small for us. It was obviously a comfortable bed though and I looked forward to my husband getting up before me so I could enjoy spreading out a bit.:-) Lovely place!
