Description of the San Francisco vacation home rental
We are tucked away in a unknown quiet neighborhood in vibrant SF, about as high in elevation as is possible. The gives us a very secure area, plenty of parking (very rare in SF), and marvelous views. The house is the perfect size for two people, a generous bedroom, office, bath, and a larger living/dining/kitchen area. Lots of natural light, wooden floors, inside parking, and a laundry. The fireplace works beautifully, and the house is well insulated and quiet. Our interesting well-traveled neighbors are all friends, and the neighborhood is quite safe. Excellent food in SF is never hard to find, and there is pretty much any cultural activity you might want, from kayaking to opera. We collect art and have filled (some might say overfilled) the place with cool items brought back from out travels abroad. Oh yeah, there is also a flat screen TV with Roku and Netflix, all the linens you will need, and a cleaning service available if you want one.

This is a great house for entertaining, and a sweet place to live.

Area Information
This neighborhood has three separate shopping and dining centers, each quite distinct in character. There is the West Portal area, with a relaxed open atmosphere and a lot of good small restaurants. There is the Castro District, lively, gay, and full of interesting shops. And there is the Inner Sunset, a largely Asian neighborhood with a lot of college students filling the streets day and night. Each of these shopping areas is within 3 minutes of the house.
