Exceed our need

Our party had four adults and also four children. We were in the city for the San Francisco Marathon. The place is centrally located where it is foot steps to Financial District (Trans-America Building), Chinatown, and Little Italy. It is also a nice walking distant to Fisherman Wharf. You can not miss the place because children call it, the Pink Mansion. The place is clean and well kept. The living room fits our queen inflated bed. The bedrooms have full size beds where it can fit another full size inflated beds but you would have minimum room to maneuver. Kitchen is not well stock since it is vacation rental so we purchase the disposal bowl, plates, and utensils at Walgreen located between Columbus and Stockton which is two short blocks of the apartment. With the availability of diner, we do not need to cook. We survive one bathroom for the weekend. There is a parking behind the apartment with the in and out privilege for $25 daily rate. You can find a cheaper rate but probably a good walks between the places. It is great place for young professional to spend weekend in the city because Friday and Saturday can be pretty noise from the Little Italy street action. For family, I would avoid the GPS direction of Kearney and Broadway because there are many red light districts. We would stay again if we are in the city.

We had a wonderful stay at Malee's 2-bdroom apartment. As from the pacific islands, our need for amendities were not an issue. We had everything we needed plus restaurants, bars, laundromats all within walking distance. Eddie was was an excellent host and we would cerainly stay there again when our travel plans allow another visit to San Francisco .

We stayed at Malee's place for 6 nights in mid-October. It was a great location, easy to find, but parking is a headache so don't bother with it (plus everything is walkable!). Malee is very friendly & was a great help. The apartment was fine for our needs - however, there was no tv like advertised (again, not really needed but it is in the ad), and the kitchen has the bare minimum of supplies (so if you're planning on cooking you may have a few problems! There's also no kettle). Fairly clean. There is wireless internet. Overall, we would stay here again as the price is good for what you get!

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Malee's for a week. The unit was large, modern and clean and Malee was a gracious host. She made several trips on our first day in to ensure we had what we needed in the apartment for a week's stay. The unit is close to numerous eateries and public transit. I would recommend this to others looking for large apartment vs a cramped hotel room for their trip to SF. The value for the money was very good.

I stayed at this place in North Beach recently and had a great stay. It was convient for what we needed. Kitchen was a nice size but if your planning to cook meals make sure you bring most of your own stuff like plastic plates and bowls and cups, and some cooking stuff as there is not much there. Living room was an ok size with just a couch. Can fit a blow up mattress if you need another bed for other guests to stay on. The two rooms have a full size bed in each of them. Beds are not the most comfortable but they are there for sleeping. The overall cleanliness of the place is would say is about a 3. But really for the money you are spending on this place it is worth it. Parking can be tuff but I think it is that way anywhere in SF. We were quite load at times and never had one complaint. I dont think anyone resides above the apartment or below. Which is nice. Malee was easy to work with. Met us at whatever time was best for us. We all enjoyed our stay.

The homeowner, Malee, was super accommodating! We were able to negotiate for 6 people in the room. 2 bedrooms (sleep 4) and I took an aerobed for the living room (2 more). Malee keeps an extra comforter and pillows in the closet. The place is quite cozy, but it works for what you need it for. It has a small kitchen as well. If you REALLY wanted to, you can fit another aerobed in the kitchen, but 8 people is a bit much for this little place. There was no one on the top floor, and we didn't realize there was a tenant on the bottom floor! We were VERY loud and no complaints! The home is ONE BLOCK away from all the bars, restaurants, and the "red light district". It was THE place to stay to be where all the action is at. There is also plenty of transportation nearby to go to Fisherman's Wharf or Union Square. The parking was the toughest, but we were lucky and found parking on the street within 2 blocks from the house. The home is very clean, the bathroom is clean, and the kitchen is clean. I would suggest taking your own towels and other "toiletries". Malee has the essentials in the place: a clean bed, clean sheets/comforters, clean pillows, toilet paper, etc. No temperature issues either. We were very comfortable. Thanks Malee for making me feel like I was partying at my own house! I definately recommend this place! And I will FOR SURE be eturning! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I called up the lady MaLee and she was very polite. It was a last minute thing and she did her best to cater to our needs. When we arrived much later than expected, she stayed up and waited for us at 11pm! I felt really bad but she was very nice to us. The place is simple but very clean. Although we did not spend much time in the apartment(came up for a 2-day weekend storyline game tournament), but I like the place a lot. View was great, located right at Chinatown and Little Italy and right where the farmer's market event was at. The only two things I have to mention to other visitors are: 1. Parking. Parking will be a tremendous headache. There is a small parking lot right above the road that will cost you $25 a night, and lot is NOT secured. You can also drive around hoping for a spot, but that might be close to impossible on the weekends. 2. Bring your own necessities. Things like bath towels, soap, etc. They have most of the basic stuff like shampoo and cups, etc. I'm sure if you need any other items they will gladly provide. They are VERY nice folks. I am planning on going there again and will most likely reserve that spot again. It is cheap and right where the actions are, and the owners are super polite and catering. We had a brief great time. Thanks.
