“Beautiful Thanksgiving”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2015

We spend Thanksgiving in this nice, well maintained house. We drove for 12 hrs from New Brunswick Canada to spend Thanksgiving with our oldest son who goes to college in Albany. We had a wonderful family time, we cooked a big turkey dinner, kitchen was new and modern with all we needed. Nice deck with great view of gorgeous fall colors. Three nice, large sized bedrooms with good, comfortable mattresses. We had nice walks, very quiet area with mostly cottages around. Owner was very friendly and helpful when we asked questions. We were not able to turn the heat on for the first night but he came in as soon as we requested help and he solved the problem right away. The only down side was that we stayed too little, hope we can return another time.

“A great weekend away”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2015

Me and my friends came up for the weekend from NYC. We had a great time spending the afternoon by the lake and the cool nights sitting around the fire. Comfortably slept 6 and morning coffee on the deck was the relaxing break we needed. Thanks!

“A Quiet Stay”

Reviewed 31 Aug 2015

A few months ago I stayed at this house that is in a quiet, wonderful location in upstate New York. The house was plenty spacious and was fully furnished. There is a pond in the back of the house and the lake is a quick walk down the road. The house near the end of a road and is extremely quiet. All of the people that I met around the area were extremely pleasant. Albany is not too far away and there were plenty of things to do and see and places to eat. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
