Description of the Sandpoint vacation home rental
Wonderful 4 bedroom 2.5 bath waterfront family home with boat dock. Look out at Sand Creek while you cook dinner or enjoy your coffee on the deck in the morning. Located in the town of Sandpoint. You can walk to all that Sandpoint offers. Safeway is just down the street for those last minute cravings!

Entry level offers a comfortable leather sofa and loveseat. Flat Screen TV above the Fireplace. There is a nice dining room that is off of the kitchen area. Another seating area in the kitchen (we call it the kids table!) Sliding glass door that opens out onto the back deck with views of the Creek and Selkirk Mountains.

Full bathroom with tub and shower on this level easily accessed from the kitchen area, bedrooms, and living area. There are 2 bedrooms on this level. The first one offers a queen bed and entry from the front of the house. You can enter into the 2nd bedroom from the 1st one or there is an entrance from the back of the house into the 2nd bedroom that also offers a queen bed. Lots of light and windows in the back bedroom.

Up the stairs you will find a cozy loft bedroom with built in twin bunks. Pine surrounding. Fabulous King bed is also in the room. Across the hall another queen bedroom and 1/4 bath is up the stairs. There is a door at the bottom of the stairs to keep this area private.

From the back of the house through the kitchen and back entrance, you can access the finished basement. Set up with kids in mind. Nice and cool in the summer season! A couple of futons are in this area. Another full bathroom with Tub and shower and washer and dryer.

The yard has grass and trees. Perfect home away from home. Down the back stairs you can access the dock. This dock can accommodate a ski boat easily. Also a great place to just hang out, fish, paddle board, or take a swim.

Lots of room, well-stocked kitchen

August 31, 2009

We were 8 adults and 2 kids, and never felt crowded. We loved the built-ins and the fact we could walk everywhere. I agree with previous reviewer the carpets need cleaning (or ripped out and wood floors exposed) but all in all, the house was clean, lots of towels provided, beds comfortable. Kitchen well-stocked with utensils, pans, and necessities. We'd rent it again.

House was clean and easily accessible. Had pretty much everything we needed. Could use some upgrading with carpets they were very heavily stained. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend it or consider coming back again.

Beautiful Home

November 14, 2008

We loved this home. There was enough room for my family of 7 and also a friends family of 5. The place is really big. We were all lost for a little while. Everything was provided in the house (towels, bedding, even condiments). The fishing was great off thedock in the backyard. It was really hard to leave and go back to california. The neighbors are wonderful people. I am looking forward to staying in the home again.
