Reviews for this vacation guesthouse rental in Santa Barbara, California

Perfect Quiet Location
December 12, 2012
We were very happy with our stay at this property. It was close to everything we wanted to do on our trip to Santa Barbara. The owners were friendly and helpful. The property is on a quiet street within walking distance to State Street where everything is happening - Huge Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and the Urban Wine Trail. We recommend this highly and will be back!

A Dream Retreat!
September 7, 2012
My Wife and I celebrated our wedding anniv in this lovely home. She says... OMGosh! Location, location, location! One block from the beach (where we played volleyball, and met gold medalist Phil Dalhausser!) This rental is really clean, comfy, warm, and inviting. Great place to make breakfast before desending upon Oprah's house, or chill and read a book. Jake, Sandi, and his Wife Joy are delightful folks as well! We were truly Blessed to find this hidden gem :) We highly reccomend this rental and will return soon. Oh, and the tower garden's on the roof are amazing! ~The Allaire's
good location but that's it

It is true that the location is great. That was about it for us. The bathroom shower barely fits an adult, it is 24"x32" which is really small. Lots of privacy concerns because there are no blinds on the window in the bathroom. Out of the four mornings we were there a man next door had a very loud conversation on the phone and unfortunately we heard every word. We were provided with one towel each for four nights, which we would have appreciated more. As for the rates, I had a room at the Oceano for the same price I stayed here. Because of the cleaning fee and us stayin only four nights instead of a week it really didn't work out to be a very good deal. Lastly, we had a skylight in the living room which the person above us could look down on us. The owner couldn't be there when we were there but did call and seemed nice enough but there were too many drawbacks for us to stay there again, mostly because of the shower and privacy.

We loved this charming unit. The small patio that looks directly over a creek is so charming and the apartment is very tastefully decorated. The pull-out sofa is very comfortable to sleep on as well. We definitely plan on returning!

Great spot.Nicely decorated, artwork etc.. Don't go if you have the least bit of problem with steep stairs.(bed and bath are up.) Plenty of freeway/train noise due to locale.Cool little deck out back.Nice kitchen.
I would like to thank you for making this vacation a very special one.
Your house is very nicely decored and clean. Near to the best places in Town.
I would highly recommend your house to anyone.
Hope to be there next year for more than a month;

Thanks for a great week at your rental. It was very private and we enjoyed the pleasant, short walk to the beach. It was really nice having a washer and dryer available and the place was just the right size for the two of us. We hope to rent again with you next year in sunny Santa Barbara!
