Description of the Santa Fe vacation home rental
This quintessential adobe free-standing home sits in the close-in historic eastside. It is very spacious for the historic area, at 1900 square feet, and 2 large king suites (with door to private flower-filled patio from one and to front porch from second), and separate office with another queen. Gourmet kitchen, separate dining room, wrap around courtyard with 3 sitting areas (sun or shade at all times of day). Lots of off-street parking. Colorful art and furnishings, built by master craftsman and incorporating all the sought-after architectural features. With all this, we like to keep our prices lower than comparable homes, to attract the guests we prefer!

An easy 8 minute walk takes you to the historic Plaza with its surrounding museums, galleries, restaurants and shops. And you are just 3 blocks from historic Canyon Road. Meander this street of galleries and shops for hours, and don't forget the Friday night openings, which are a happening of their own. In the winter, it is an easy 3 minute drive to the ski road, and there up to our fabulous 12000 feet peaks!

We offer weekly (minimum 5 days between 2 weekends) and monthly rates. Dogs may be allowed (tell us more). Please let us know when and how long, how many you are (we have frequent single or one couple visitors as well) and anything else you think we would like to know. Are you a first time visitor, for example, coming here to work or attend a workshop. We will then send you additional information, more photos and an exact quote for your visit.PA

Phenomenal place; we have already booked next year

May 23, 2016

Thanks Mari. Your home is so spacious and beautiful and it served all our needs; I didn't think I could find a rental with two King suites. We love to walk and left our car in place for all but 3 days in a month; and the 3 parking spaces were welcome. Unfortunately for us, we had to bring work, so the office spaces were great. We didn't have to mess up the dining table, so were immediately ready for our gourmet meals; one of us LOVES to cook. We stayed for a month and had several guests and the KING and privacy was of paramount importance. We love our friends, but need our solitude as well. By the way, your meditation garden outside the main king suite was delightful for our morning coffee.

Owner's reply:

Thanks Agnese; you were great guests and we so appreciate that. The second KING was just purchased and now our two couple guests do not have to draw straws! We set up the extra workspaces because even if our guests do not bring work, they have personal work and computers and appreciate the space. We are so glad you are returning. Many of our guests come back every year, and that makes it even better for us to know our guests.

Owner Supplied Testimonials

Our guest in January, who stay for one month raved about the home and its amenties, space, light and ease of walking to everything; never took their car except to go to out of town sights. Both broght work and the office and other desk workspace served them well. He is a chef and loved the gourmet kitche. They especially loved the santa fe design and colorful furnishings and art. They have already booked for next year. As they are from New York City, we considered all this a great compliment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why is your location desirable?
A: Historic eastside is most sought after in santa fe, as you can walk to everything - markets/galleries/shops and restaurants. Food shop one block away; walk to the Plaza in 8 minutes; stroll the wonderful eastside lanes with secrets behind each courtyard and views of the mountains at every turn - the PROVENCE of the United States
Q: Why should I rent your home?
A: Because it is spacious for the historic area, and absolutely beautiful - a true adobe with not one but TWO KING SUITES (very private at opposite ends of the home with a door to the outside (look at first photo), separate office, and two other desk spaces, gourmet kitchen, dining for 6, 3 flat screen tvs. Colorful Santa Fe and Mexican design touches.
Q: What do guests most comment about your home?
A: They love being in the historic area and able to walk to the Plaza so quickly; the proximity of services. When there are two couples, the separateness and the ability to both have king suites is so desirable for them. Most of our guests keep coming back particularly a film producer every year for 2 months and several couples from Europe who come for a month each.
