This house is beautiful and fully equipped with all of your family needs. Private decks and boat docks are well maintained.

Beautiful area but the house needs work.

We chose to visit 30A for our three-family vacation this year instead of our usual South Carolina locale. We were very pleased with the area - the proximity to the beach and the 30A accessibility were definitely the high points. The Forget Me Knot home has a great floor plan and the potential to be very nice, but it has major issues that detracted from the enjoyment of our stay. First, the home was not as clean as we expected - upon arrival we found trash around the pool area, mildew in the tub jets, and filthy toilets. Several of the dining chairs and wicker chairs on the rooftop deck were broken. The dishwasher did not function properly, leaving the dishes dirty. The dryer sounded like it was going to explode when running. On the last day, the toilet on the bottom floor clogged and made a mess (no fault of ours). We emailed Ocean Reef to alert them to the problems, and they sent the maintenance person within a few hours on three separate occasions. However, none of the problems were fixed while we were there. It seemed as if they sent the repair person just to take notes with no intention of fixing the problem. It was very frustrating. Also, the stove, oven, and grill are all in disrepair and are very difficult to cook on. I hope the property owners read this and take action so this beautiful home can get the attention it needs to make it a great place to stay. I don't think Ocean Reef is doing a good job of maintaining the house, and the cleaning crew definitely needs to be replaced.
