2-Story Duplex Beachfront (2 floors)

My husband and I stayed at this beautifully appointed condo from May 31st thru June 8th and did not want to leave. The condo is exactly as pictured; clean, updated, comfortable, bright, modern, with absolutely breathtaking views. We posted a picture of the patio views on Face Book the day we arrived and immediately had multiple responses, 'Wow! Where are you? That's incredible!'. It was an exhausting overnight flight from CA to St. Thomas, so it was such a pleasure to crawl into that super comfortable king bed. We slept for 11 hours the first night and the remainder of our stay was the best sleep I've had in years. We left the sliding doors open in the bedroom at night and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean and the breeze from the overhead fan. I took a nap one afternoon on the first floor Murphy bed and it was just as comfortable as the master.

Kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I love to cook but usually refrain from doing so on vacations. Couldn't help myself because the kitchen was so beautiful, so I cooked breakfast every morning. Red Hook is within walking distance, but we had a rental car. There are several good restaurants there, as well as the ferry to St. John, so very convenient location. There is also a food truck, Off The Grid, at the entrance of the property, with excellent barbecue.

We visited several beaches but realized that the beach in front of the condo was probably the best on the island, so we didn't leave the property for the last few days. We are scuba divers and, of course, the diving was great off a dive boat; however, the snorkeling at Sapphire Beach was just as impressive, so we didn't bother diving again. Saw spotted eagle rays, sea turtles, a barracuda and beautiful fish while snorkeling.

Had cocktails every evening on the equally gorgeous patios. Recommend a trip to the island's K-marts to pick up the most inexpensive liquor and mosquito repellent. We've been recommending this condo to friends, co-workers and family since our return to the real world this week, and we will continue to do so. Thank you to the owners for sharing their fantastic vacation home!

ABOUT THE SAPPHIRE BEACH RESORT AND MARINA: Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina (SBRM) is the only ONE property that is located right on Sapphire Beach beach/ocean front. It is considered a residential condominium property at an awesome location. Our duplex villa is in the 'A' building, on the beach. 'A' and 'D' buildings were fully renovated in 2013 featuring new woodwork, pergolas, entrance and balcony doors, balcony and entrance tails. Walls were re-sealed and newly painted.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE OUR CONDO: Our condo is almost twice the floor space as the other suites on Sapphire Beach. We added a Murphy bed at the lower level so we are considered as a 2 bedroom residence.
