Description of the Sarasota vacation cottage rental
It’s shabby chic meets high tech and it’s all in the details! Elegant, light and airy and just darn adorable best describes The Urban Cottage. Be the first guests to experience the luxury!

The Urban Cottage at The Bryant House is a newly restored 950 square foot Historic cottage just blocks away from the inter coastal waterway. It was built in 1939 for Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bryant. As owners of McKown's Market, the Bryants worked downtown and raised their family in this quaint cottage. Lovingly restored, the sensitive and sustainable renovation has maintained a cottage feel with all the modern conveniences in a fantastic downtown location.

The majestic hand carved Mahogany 4 Post king-sized bed along with high quality bedding and down comforters creates a romantic, elegant Master Bedroom that is spacious and inviting. The Living Room has views of 50 year old azalea bushes planted by Mrs. Bryant in the front garden. A leather sectional couch provides a comfortable resting area for guests. The open floor plan allows viewing of the 40” LED Smart TV from the Kitchen, Living and Dining Rooms. The sparkling new eat in gourmet Kitchen overlooks the private back yard and has all the amenities including brand new appliances with washer and dryer. A modern spa inspired Bath Room has tile, marble, inlaid pebble stone and a walk in shower with fresh fluffy towels provided. The bright and sunny Dining Room has windows on 3 walls, French doors and a dining table that seats 6 with a picturesque view that lets you enjoy Florida's natural beauty while you dine.

A lush tropical yard with mango, avocado and loquat trees, sweet smelling jasmine and frangipani surround a fire pit to warm up to or lounge about for sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful Florida climate. The patio is equiped for grilling, an herb garden and outdoor dining for four in the shade of an umbrella.

Q: Why are there no reviews?
A: We have just recently listed with Vacation Home Rentals September 2016 but please feel free to read our 5 star reviews on another site #762430. Sorry I cannot post the link to this but here0s an example written by one of our guests
"We've done holiday rentals all around the world, and we've never found one as comfortable and tastefully decorated as this one. The Pettus's are remarkably generous and detail oriented hosts, and the kitchen lacked not a single thing to enjoy a couple of nights of cooking after a visit to Sarasota's wonderful farmer's market. We loved it from start to finish, and will enthusiastically recommend it to friends and family."
