About the area

The Neighborhood: Indian Beach/ Sapphire Shores is a highly desirable area of Sarasota. Filled with tree canopied streets with little traffic are wonderful for walking, biking, or just taking in the historic Ringling homes and other mansions that permeate the area. West of the Tamiami Trail on the Bay between the Ringling Museum and Ringling Art School. Convenient to downtown shopping, Whole Foods, the library, and short distance to St. Armands Circle. The Bay is at the end of the street. Siesta Key and Long Boat Beaches are a close drive. We highly recommend taking the few blocks walk to Bayshore Drive where there is a dock on the Bay to watch magnificent sunsets. Many of the streets in the area are tree canopied with light traffic, so walking and biking are delightful! There are several nearby restaurants and most others are a short drive away.

Great location and well maintained home on a very spacious lot. Just what I and my wife needed for our month's stay. Property is as described, close to museums, downtown restaurants, bayfront and the award-winning Siesta beach. Thanks, Merry!
