Description from owner

Prime Siesta Beachfront location just a block north of Sarasota County's Siesta Beach and only a 4 block walk or tip taxi ride to Siesta Key Village. This property shares a private beachfront lot with one other townhouse unit. It is on the sugar white quartz sand of Crescent Beach which has been rated #1 and #2 best beach in the United States. They just spent 21 million dollars remodeling the public beach facilities and parking lot, truly spectacular and it is just a short walk if you want to enjoy all that it has to offer or just hang out on your quieter section of beach.

This unit has two bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bedroom is on it's own upper level and has a king bed, sitting area, private deck with beach view, large vanity and closet, separate toilet and shower area. The second bedroom is on the living level and currently has a double bed. There are two bathrooms on the main level.

There is smaller sized kitchen but well equipped and it is open to the larger living area with two seats at it's bar top. There is a large deck off the living area. There is a private laundry room and a single car garage. It is clean and nice but standard quality finishes.

It is all about the location and a good value!

About the area

What can I say, it is on the best beach in the US. Location, location, location as they say! Sarasota is a quality community with many fine restaurants, theaters, beaches, shopping areas and malls. There are highly rated golf courses just a short distance from this property. You will be surprised at the quality level of amenities this community offers and that is why it is so popular among locals and tourists alike. Siesta Key Village is just four blocks north. Siesta Key is just a short distance to downtown Sarasota, the marina and restaurant at Marina Jacks, St. Armand's Circle, UTC mall which is one of the newest deluxe malls in the US. Everything you could want is within 30 minutes of Siesta Key. We have museums, aquatic centers, Mote marine, Ringling mansion and circus tent/art museum, theaters, night life and a thriving downtown with Saturday farmer's market, art/film and wine festivals, plus many other weekly events or you can just lay on the beach and relax and enjoy the Gulf breezes.

Getting around

Tip taxi's are very popular and available, regular taxi and of coarse the new apps for personal transportation. There are Trolley's and Buses too.

“beach house rental”

Reviewed 4 Jun 2013

The house was nice but a little out dated. A few things went wrong, but the owner really helped out immediately to rectify all the problems. It had all the things you wanted for the beach except an umbrella, which if we had one, we would have been at the beach constantly. Overall, a good vacation.

We spent 4 fantastic days at this beach house and loved it! The house has everything you need and more, the views are stunning and the location spot on! The beds were a dream to sleep in and I loved waking up to the Gulf each morning. We will be back, may make it an annual thing :) The owner was a really great guy to work with too, made it all easy.

Owner's reply: Thank You for staying at the beach house and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. David

“home away from home”

Siesta Key was a great house on a great beach. The boogie boarding was absolutely awesome. The waters were crystal clear and the family could see all kinds of fish. The birds were almost fearless. We could walk right up to them. The sunsets were lovely. It was like Eden. And for all you cooks, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets you could want, a great stove, filtered water at the sink, and all sorts of appliances. The screened lanais were nice at night, and the bathrooms were very nice too. Plenty of places to sleep, and a great king bed. Good for the young'uns as well as the big people too. Night life was good too. The local law enforcement was present, but not intrusive, so security was good. And...a free trolley so you don't have to drive around. Bring the whole family.

Owner's reply: It is always nice to know my renters had a great time and enjoyed my home!
