Reviews for this vacation condo rental in Sarasota, Florida
Sarasota South Central

A great location for a stay of a short period of time. Furniture / TV is outdated & could certainly be replaced. Laundry facilities are available however a good walk away. You are close to a major shopping centre as well as exercising facilities at a YMCA. The condo is located facing a lake. It's a place that attracts a lot of people who have pets and like to bring them for walks. All in all we were satisfied with the place however we did find it to small for 2 people.

The condo is small. If you have more then 3 people it's going to be very tight! The condo was clean. It was a no fuss, no muss design...a couch...a chair...a table...etc. No fancy decorating as you will tell by the dime store paintings on the wall. I have rented several home away rentals and each and every one was warmly and personally decorated with very homey touches. This condo is not warm or homey....it was very much a hotel feel. Except that there was no toilet paper:( There wasn't even any salt and pepper, so be prepared to bring any food stuffs you need. Though there are plates, dishes, cups, towels, coffee maker....everything a low budget hotel would have that had a kitchenette. There is no dishwasher and no WIFI. But on an up note the bed is big and comfy. All the places I have rented have books to read, games to play, videos to watch...there was nothing there. Remember....this is a condo...which means there are people living upstairs and you hear them walking everywhere. The units are not very soundproofed. It was a safe and clean area. About 20 minutes from downtown Sarasota and from Lido beach. I would not stay here again, just not my cup of tea. When I rent a place from Home Away and pay over $150 a night I guess I expect more of a personal, comfy, homey touch. If I wanted a place to feel like a hotel, I would have staying in a hotel.
