Quiet and serene gardens with sitting areas. A few of our local restaurant suggestions… Union Gables Inn and the Alexander House is within a short stroll to approximately sixty restaurants and bars. The closest restaurant is The Brook Tavern; one block from here. It is a delicious steakhouse with American style cuisine and has both indoor and outdoor dining; craft beers; live music on Monday and is a local neighborhood favorite. One Caroline Street Bistro is a farm-to table restaurant which means all ingredients are sourced locally. They offer nightly live music each night and is usually not too loud; very tasteful piano, Jazz ensemble or bass player. Located at 1 Caroline Street, in the first floor of the building, about a ten minute walk from Union Gables. The “sister” restaurant of One Caroline is the Mouzon House, a former farmhouse converted into a farm to table restaurant. The setting is unique and intimate since the tables are arranged in the original “house” rooms. They also provide outside dining. It is located at 1 York Street (off of High Rock Avenue),where there is a large parking lot and the farmhouse is at the end of the lot. Boca Bistro is Mediterranean Tappas style restaurant, and serves both lunch and dinner. The unique Spanish menu influences their décor and drink menu. The service is excellent and all dishes are consistently delicious. (Guest Favorite) Sperry's is a fine American cuisine restaurant so they have something for everyone and a very professional wait staff. They also cater to larger parties for semi-private dining. They serve homemade popovers instead of bread before dinner that are delicious. Chianti Il Ristorante serves sophisticated, authentic Northern Italian fare in an elegant setting. Their vodka sauce is a local favorite! Located at 18 Division Street in the center of Downtown Saratoga Springs. (10 minute walk from Union Gables) 15 Church Restaurant has been voted one of the best restaurants outside of New York City. Their outdoor patio has a unique and inventive menu; it looks down from the converted church roof. For a classic dining experience, try their main dining menu, which boasts a variety of fine local cuisine. Each item can be paired with a house wine or cocktail. This upscale restaurant will not disappoint! Reservations highly recommended. A delicious restaurant for New American food is Max London’s. The restaurant is between casual and dressy. They are known for their artisan wood fired pizzas and daily changing menu and serve everything from small salads to large entree plates. Located in the heart of downtown Saratoga on Broadway. Another New American Food styled restaurant is Henry Street Tap Room. It is a casual restaurant / bar, but their menu and atmosphere is extremely creative and they have 16 different microbrew beers on tap every night. Hattie's Restaurant serves a variety of Southern and Louisiana cuisine, including Hattie's™ famous Southern fried chicken and homemade desserts. Their back patio open all year round is a lively and unique area. Gluten-free items available. Historical restaurant in operation since 1938. There is a beautiful courtyard from May-October. It is about an eight minute walk from Union Gables. Located at 45 Phila Street.
