We had a fabulous time at the charming 1852 House. I cannot find a bad word to say about our accommodations. The location was fabulous, the condo was very comfortable for the 6 adults who stayed there. I thought parking would be a problem, which it wasn't. We had all the comforts of home and nothing was lacking. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace enjoying our morning coffee or our evening cocktails. The bedrooms were so quiet and beds very comfortable. WE LOVED IT!!

The house was of NO disappointment what so ever!!! It was BEAUTIFUL and felt much like home. It was close to everything and I will be using this home again in the future. The owners were very easy to book with and Dave the manager was awesome...even when my pop locked himself out of the house while we were touring beautiful Savannah! I can't wait to come back and have another wonderful weekend at the 1852 house!

We had a great stay at this 1852 house on the west side of the historic district - walking distance to many great sites. The owner lives close by and was friendly and attentive to our every need. The home was nicely renovated, with original touches; it was spacious and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

We just recently returned from our first trip to Savannah and had a very good time staying at the 1852 House. We were close enough to all of the points of interests and within walking distance to the downtown district. The house was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Hope to return again some day in the future.

It was a very spacious comfortable stay. The four of us had our own space. All of the accommodations of home. The backyard was great for visiting, drinking your morning coffee or grilling. We had a wonderful time. Yes we would stay in the home again. We have told friends who have child at the art school. Close walking distance to the squares.

The house was perfect for our purposes. The kitchen was compact but still had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed dinner on the back patio. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. We were within walking distance of several good restaurants and the free DOT shuttle stop was 2 blocks away. Dave was incredibly helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

A visit back in time

The 1852 house proved to be a perfect location for our three night stay for our father's 70th birthday. The six of us were very comfortable in the home. Very convenient to Kroger, the parks, and resturants. The decor was perfect and beautiful. The beds were awesome and everything we needed was found there. We would definately recommend this house for vacation rentals.

We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your house. We love walking, so it was a great walk down to River St. My cousin especially loved the pillow on the downstairs bed.

Again, thanks for sharing your Savannah 1852 home with us.

My two best friends and I stayed at The 1852 House for two nights/three days. It was wonderful!! The house was extremely clean, homey and well equipped! There were a lot of little things that were extra that made this house our home. The back patio was so nice!! We enjoyed sitting out there in the morning while watcing the Koi Fish Pond and we LOVED that there were Fresh Tomatos growing there too!! The location was perfect for walking tours of the squares and the house is very close to the Savannah Visitors Center. A few of our Savannah Favorites are: The River House on Riverwalk (make sure you have their house salad, and their Crab Legs are to die for! - Ask for Bradford - WONDERFUL WAITER); The Bar Bar in City Market was Fun Fun and The Rail was also a blast! We will definately be back to Savannah with more family and friends and we'll definately rebook our stay at the 1852 House!! Thanks Chris!!!

We had such a great stay at the 1852 house. It had all the ambiance necessary to stay in a "Savannah State of Mind". Everything was as promised - spotlessly clean, high-end linens, great location. The owner stopped by to be sure everything was okay for us. Parking was not a problem and although we needed to drive to some attractions, it was nice to be in a quite area at night. Robert Redford is filming a Civil War movie a couple of blocks away! And yes, we did go to Paula Deen's and it was worth it. We walked to many of the squares and museums. We'll be staying here again.

Our family of six including 4 adults and two children spent 3 nights in this home. We commented that it felt so comfotable and homey. The home was elegantly restored and completely modernized, yet felt like we had been transported back in time. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed while there. The location is perfect within blocks of Mrs. Wilks, Foresyth park, Kroger, and Blowin' Smoke BBQ resturant. The owner and property manager were easily reachable and helpful to make the booking and the stay very easy. We would definitely recommed this house for your next stay in Savannah.

My family and I stayed at the 1852 house for a family get together over Thanksgiving. The house was cozy, comfortable, and full of charm. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an awesome visit. We were also able to walk to River Street and Forsyth Park from the house. I cannot wait until my family and I can stay there again!
