Description of the Scituate vacation home rental
This is a delightful large home for rent on the shores of the South River. The tide rises to meet the patio in front of the house twice each day. Humarock is a small peninsula and the ocean is a mere 75 yards in the other direction. The house itself has 5 bedrooms, two of which are very large and have two double beds, two full baths, a full 40 feet of screened in porch, a 60 foot patio in front, fireplace, washer, dryer, and all the amenities that will make your vacation perfect. All linens and bedding included.

This house and location were fabulous and perfect for our family! Our week was great - a fantastic mix of swimming in the river and the ocean, sitting on the porch and the patio, going for walks and runs, watching World Cup Soccer, lots of barbecues, lunch at the Bridgeway, fireworks on the beach for the 4th, a cool breeze every night after hot sunny days, plenty of space and many, many wonderful family memories made! ~ We hope to go back again next year!

We had a wonderful vacation in Humarock. The weather was fantastic and the house was perfect for all the people we had coming and going. I would definately stay there next year. Thank you for helping me find the rental. DIane

Owner Supplied Testimonials

This is the greatest place I've ever stayed. The only place I've ever stayed where you cannot hear traffic. Sitting on the porch as the sun goes down, overlooking the river in the quiet of the evening is what vacationing is all about. I loved swimming in the river, playing on the raft and watching a ball game at night. I'll be back again and again

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What fun things do you do at the place?
A: It's on the river, we canoe, kayak, last year we rented stand up surf boards, all great fun. People fish for strippers right in front of the house when the tide is high. I like to relax on the patio, have a drink, read a book, listen to some music and relax with friends
Q: What makes the vacation house special?
A: A beautiful, quiet patio and screened in porch that the river rises to twice a day. The Ocean a mere 75 yards up the street. What more could you ask for.
Q: What's the best restaurant nearby?
A: The Bridgeway is famous for it's Italian meals and it's fine fish. .75 miles away. We usually walk down and back.
For breakfast try Sands End a great local place
