Nice place, nice pool, BUT the beach is a hassle

May 30, 2012

The condo is nice. Not the same quality as WaterColor or Seaside or even Rosemary, but still very nice. (Ex: shower in the master is plastic, not tile.) The location on the pool is fabulous. If you want to "go to the beach" and spend most of your time at the pool, then this is your place. If you want to go to the beach, it's a hassle. The biggest problem is that Seacrest has no beach access and the development across 30A that is on the beach does not allow bikes, cars or any access other than walking or the shuttle (and the security guard is tough - no getting around her.) The shuttle is not all that convenient, so this is a real limitation. I feel sorry for the owners of this property and the other Seacrest owners, but they really should have secured a solid beach access before this community was established.
