SUGAR SHACK: Sugar Shack is not a typical rental property, and is not meant for everyone. It is an amazingly large, 1,800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom residence on the 4th (and top) floor of the Sugar Dunes complex, and is decorated with high end furnishings meant to be enjoyed and appreciated. It's not just a rental - it's a home away from home. Couches and duvets are not dark and patterned to hide stains. Rather Sugar Shack is exquisitely decorated to appreciate the open layout and panoramic view of the ocean. Lounge in a grand room with twenty foot ceilings or take in the sights and sounds coming from the crystal clear water and sugar white sand from a 750 square foot covered, private deck. Walk down to the beach using a door and stairway which leads directly to the sand, or stay on the patio and enjoy the sunset with a cool glass of wine and fine cheese from one of the many nearby artisanal markets nearby.

When you are in Seagrove Beach, you are arguably in the middle of it all. Seaside, WaterColor and Grayton are just a mile or two to the west, while the newer planned communities of WaterSound, Rosemary, Alys Beach.
Eastern Lake and Deer Lake, two of South Waltons rare coastal dune lakes are both very close at there break-out point on the beach. Eastern lake is only 3 yards to the east and is great for smaller kids to play in the calm water and wonderful sand shores. Deer Lake State Park consists of 1,920 acres and eleven distinct natural habitats. The main boardwalk spans stunning and pristine dunes before opening onto a less-traveled section of secluded Gulf beaches. Deer Lake State Park boasts a variety of rare plants including spoon flowers, golden asters and the Gulf coast lupine, among others. The nearby Eastern Lake system features a Bike / Hike Trail with 3.5, 6 and 10-mile trail loops.

Lovely condo directly on the beach. Easy walk down stairs with beach access from your balcony. Beds were super comfy! Located in the middle of everything. Very nice stay.

We traveled from Oklahoma with three daughters ranging from 3 to 15. The site was perfect which the beach view and steps straight from our balcony to the sand. The unit was perfect with furnishing that didn't feel like the traditional beach house and a private garage made it so easy to come and go. The location was ideal-close enough that two of our daughters biked to seaside and not more than 25 miles from anything we wanted to do. The community was quiet and we could not have asked for a better overall experience for anything! We can't wait to go back!
