Description of the Seaside Heights vacation apartment rental
Still need to decide where to spend that summer vacation? Look no further. We have just the place for you! My Grandparents (Frank & Anna Marino) purchased these apartments in 1947 and lived on the 2nd floor apt. while renting out the 1st floor apt. After a couple summers of friends asking Frank to park in the "lot" behind the house, he decided to build the cottage with some friends. They created family friendly rentals and many families have continued renting from us thru the years. From Frank & Anna, to Johnny & Rosemary, to John & Debbie, these apartments have been an integral part of the summer vacations of generations of families. My kids will have summers like I did. Seaside was, and is still, so much fun. From crabbin' at the bay to a hot slice of Maruca's pizza (still the best!), you can't go wrong. We're now on FB. Become a fan!

We are a family oriented property. There are plenty of houses in Seaside that are "party houses". We are not one of them. MINIMUM RENTAL AGE IS 25 YEARS OLD. When sending a request, PLEASE STATE YOUR AGE. Thanks.

We were comfortable plenty of room very clean and well received by Debbie who was there with everything we needed. The beach and boardwalk are only 2 blocks away and clubs and restaurants are around the corner. We had perfect weather to make it a great week. It was my first trip down the shore since Sandy and the fire and although so much is gone there doing a great job making it still a great place for a family vacation!

Average as Expected

August 20, 2014

Our family stayed here for our vacation at Seaside, which we all know was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy but the town is rebuilding and getting back to normal. I am giving an honest review of Marino's upstairs apartment located on Lincoln Ave. The location is excellent just two blocks from the boardwalk. Apartment size is average for a vacation rental, please do not expect luxury size rooms and accommodations if that is what you are seeking then pay the price for those accommodations. The three rooms are very small, the shower is very small, there is no eat in kitchen, but a kitchen table with chairs is in the front room which is the opposite end of the apartment than the kitchen, which sounds ridiculous right... but it isn't actually we enjoyed being able to sit in the front room full of windows eating and people watching and there isn't any laundry room nor a washer/ dryer but a laundromat just a block away. Bottom line is what you do get is a very reasonable priced apartment to rest your head at night which in my opinion is the only time you should be in the apartment while on vacation at the shore to begin with. Parking was a little tricky trying to make sure all vehicles could be moved in order for someone to get out to drive but again if your worried about driving around while on vacation at the shore where everything and i mean everything is in walking distance then maybe this isn't the place for you. The upstairs has a large enough deck to accommodate the amount of people they allow to stay and a gas or charcoal grill outback that can be used. Overall the apartment could use a little updating but again it is a shore rental and what i thought i was paying for is exactly what we got. John and Debbie thank you for keeping prices low and look forward to booking with you again.

Owner's reply:

Thanks for the review. The table thing has been visited and revisited so many times. LOL. We settled on the front room because, like you said, we love having the vantage of seeing everything as we enjoy the ocean breeze that flows through. You will happy to see on your return visit this year that the updating and modernization has begun. See you in August!

Me and my family had a great time at 129 Lincoln Ave. Seaside heights NJ. We had a great time the apartment lots of space and very clean. The owner was their waiting for us to show up we came a little late and they were fine with it even though check in is at 1pm. We are not from their so they told us all the best places to go to have fun with the family. I can't wait till next year we are going back. Best vacation ever. Thank you so much for the great welcome.

It's very satisfying to be able to help a family have a great time in a town I grew up spending my summers in.I still love Seaside today and I'm glad I get to carry on the family tradition of providing a nice house for people to spend their vacations in. See you next year!
