These units were designed as an ADULT ONLY/NO PETS personal vacation residence (couple's or ladies get-away) for 2 persons over the age of 25 only. Our family owns 4 units in this building with at least 1 unit on each floor and all are corner units. The unit pictured and advertised here is Unit #4 on the second floor. We have been owners at this location since the 1980's and our original building was destroyed by Hurricane Dennis. When we built the building back after hurricane Dennis we ordered 4 of everything so they are all alike except for the color of the sofa and some décor. Each unit has a king bed, stainless appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen and marble vanity tops in the bathroom, same tile and paint color are in each unit.

If you are interested in the fill in nights for less than the nightly minimum you must be able to use the fill in dates that we have. Minimum night requirements must be met if dates include the weekend unless you take fill in dates between other rentals. If your dates are flexible, we can provide some dates that are fill in dates upon request. Week nights can be rented for as few as 1 to 2 nights subject to availability. Please check our calendar for available dates and our rates are on the rates tab We do not accept rentals as gifts or allow family members to rent for other family members. THE PERSON STAYING IN THE CONDO MUST BE THE PERSON RENTING THE CONDO.

This is a no smoking property and this is a NO SMOKING unit. If you are a smoker, please choose a different property. Smoking on balcony or any place on the property not allowed by the HOA. Each unit comes with 1 parking space only. Golf carts and trailers are not allowed per HOA.

New beach front condo that was completed in Oct. 2010 is a 9 unit building with private beach access and outdoor shower. Fully furnished kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances with ceramic tile flooring. Special feature is the 10 foot ceilings through out which gives the unit a spacious beach feel. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in the condo. Each of our condos have a 46' flatscreen tv in the living area and a 32' flatscreen tv in the bedroom. There is an outdoor charcoal grill in the parking lot and bicycle rack. There is 1 parking space per condo at no charge.

Along with the gulf view, Leeward I also has a view of Eastern Lake located just two buildings away to the east. (See picture from balcony looking to the east for the view of the south tip of the lake where it meets the gulf). Eastern Lake is a rare coastal dune lake where fresh water mixes with gulf water. Dune Lakes are only found 5 places in the world

Umbrella and chair rental on the beach is available next door to the left of the condo from The Beach Chair Company, Inc. The Beach Chair Company also rents Kayaks, Yolo and Surf Boards (Seth can also give you lessons with your rental) and new for this year are Bonfires on the beach! Bicycle and Golf Cart rentals available at Butterfly Bike and they do deliver and pickup at Leeward I free of charge.

Located on a quiet low traffic dead end road south of 30A on Eastern Lake Road it is a short bike ride to Seaside where you can shop at the Farmers Market starting at 9 am on Saturday mornings at the Seaside Amphitheater year round. You can select your pick of fresh produce and other unique offers. Nothing better than fresh vegetables go to with fresh seafood that can be purchased 1/2 mile from Leeward I at the Goatfeather's Seafood Market on 30A for a night of dining in. Dinner on the balcony is both beautiful and peaceful while watching the sun set to the sound of the ocean waves washing up on the beach.

“If Gulf view and easy beach access is important...”

This is my 25th trip to the east Destin area. We've traditionally stayed in Seaside proper but thought we'd try something different this trip. The motivation was: 1) all of the additional fees Seaside now charges, 2) the congestion in the community and on the beach, and 3) really wanting to have that gulf view which 95% of Seaside properties cant offer. Seagrove is 2.5 miles east of Seaside and has substantially fewer properties, hence much less congestion. The condo is perfect with regard to amenities. The gulf view from this condo is beautiful. Everything we needed was provided. If easy access to the beach is desirable, this is your place. Easy convenient parking, and minutes away from some terrific restaurants and stores.
