We had a very comfortable stay. Not only was everything really clean, but they have a large kitchen that was just perfect. Fireplace to make the room feel even more cozy. It was really great for the 3 of us and the owners were very friendly and helpful! Definitely will be back.

This property surpassed our expectations for self-catering accommodation. It was private, VERY comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for all our needs, including many basic food items for us to use. Sue is a very friendly, highly informative host who shared a common interest of gardening with us, so conversation flowed! Thank you for your hospitality, including your husband very kindly running us into the city on 1 occasion when we mad just missed a bus. Highly recommended as accommodation for those who are seeking a quiet retreat with the city on your doorstep.

This place is larger than it looks on line. Owner is very pleasant and helpful. Everything you need is there and the location has to be the best thing about it. Ten minutes to everything and plenty of local stores and etc in the neighborhood. I've rented a lot of cabins and etc but the problem is the pictures are deceiving. Not the case here. Just hard to feel the nice size of it on line. Highly recommend this place to anyone with 4 guests or less.

This apartment was a wonderful treat that came at the end of our vacation traveling around the Olympic Peninsula and ending with a couple of days in Seattle. It was super clean, very comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer was an incredibly helpful amenity. As noted in the description, it is located very close to downtown. Even at busier times of day, with a car you can be downtown in 10 minutes or less. Everything about the space was great for us - having a kitchen, a separate living room to relax in, and available parking. Since it is in a residential neighborhood, it was very quiet during the day and night - a nice bonus. We highly recommend this space for other travelers!

We spent two days in the Garden Apartment during a vacation in Seattle. Exceeded our expectations in every way. Quiet, comfortable, spacious - and surrounded by a lovely garden. We appreciated having a grocery story just a couple blocks away. A great base for seeing the sights of Seattle. If I could add a sixth star I would.

My Response

12/8 I had a fabulous stay at this Garden Sanctuary Apartment over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It was extremely clean and warm and inviting, and the owners were super friendly and accommodating. I had every amenity I needed or could use - I did a quick load of laundry when I needed to, the gas fireplace kept things looking and feeling awesome, the kitchen was top notch and the beds were far more comfortable than any I have slept on in a long time. I was only there a couple days, but it would have been perfect for an extended stay. Next time I need to stay in Seattle I'm going to try to stay here.

3/11 We have family in the Magnolia area of Seattle and visit there often. If there are too many of us, other accommodations are needed and this location was perfect. Our stay this time was short so we didn't take full advantage of all this place has to offer, but it will be our go to spot in the future. A full sized one bed room apartment with large living area, great kitchen, very nice bedroom and bathroom which had my new favorite thing-- a heated floor! Laundry in and beautiful gardens out. I recommend it highly.

3/20 We stayed at this lovely apartment for our Anniversary. The decor is tasteful and very comfortable. Originally, we intended Magnolia to be home base, and to spend most of our time in the city, but soon discovered that anything we wanted to do was just a short Uber ride away. Had a great time at he Village Pub one night, and then just spent time enjoying the peace and quiet of the apartment for the rest of the weekend. We even scrapped plans of going downtown for a fancy dinner in favor of staying at the apartment and ordering food for delivery from a fantastic local Italian joint. We had everything we needed right there. Visits from Stella (the owners cat) made us feel right at home. We LOVED this apartment and would recommend it with two very enthusiastic thumbs up!!

4/23 Very nice apartment. Really enjoyed having a fireplace. Quiet and comfortable inside with lovely view and wonderful gardens outside. A grocery store is just a short walk away, as we did prepare meals in the spacious kitchen. We had no difficulty with parking our rental car. Thank you for a wonderful trip to Seattle. Will come again.
