The Forest Street Guest House is an ecomonical and comfortable hotel alternative, being centrally located on North Beacon Hill -just minutes to Downtown Seattle. There are two Light Rail stations within walking distance that will take you to Safeco and Qwest Fields, Pioneer Square, Seattle Waterfront and the Pike Street Market; and in December 2009, Light Rail will include service directly to and from SeaTac Airport that will stop nearly at the Forest Street Guest House's doorstep! The Forest Street Guest House accommodations include three rooms with one room being the master bedroom, all having key-locked entrances ,queen-size beds,custom closets, cable TV & DVD players. Two rooms share a bathroom that has marble surround and floor, soaking tub, rainfall shower, custom sink basin and shower shield; the master bedroom has private bath with marble floor and venetian plaster walls, jacuzzi tub,beautiful marble entrance and walnut hardwood floor, huge walk-in closet and mini kitchen, and of course all linens and towels are provided as well as coffee and tea. The kitchen, living room, dining room, deck and laundry room are common areas available for guests' use. The kitchen is fully equipped; the living room has leather furniture and shag rug with cable TV, the dining room has built-in buffet/bar and large dining table,and adjacent to the living room is a covered deck with beautiful greenspace view. The Forest Street Guest House is located in a very safe and friendly North Beacon Hill neighborhood,just minutes to Downtown Seattle by car and now, by Light Rail, Seattle's new transportation service; the busline & shopping are only 2 blocks away as well. Less than one mile to the east is Lake Washington for biking,jogging and water recreation. The central location is so close to Downtown, yet guests enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as all windows view the beautiful Cheasty Greenspace, when looking out the large windows or sitting on the deck - one will feel as though they are in the country when actually you are nearly in the middle of the city! North Beacon Hill neighborhood is just one of Seattle's popular neighborhoods surrounding Dowtown Seattle, such as Queen Ann, Capital Hill,First Hill, Madison Valley, Madison Park, Leshi, Madrona, and Mount Baker.
