Description of the Seattle vacation home rental
Our welcoming and comfortable two-bedroom suburban single 2-Unit home that fits a family of four to six on the main floor, is just minutes away from fun and fabulous Green Lake, University District, Down Town & North Gate Mall. Easy access to bus lines 48 & 73!
What make our home unique is that it is in the heart of the city of Seattle with a touch of suburban quiet life.
It is very versatile. BEST Suitable for a family of four - six or mature, well-behaved and clean adults.
Our home is what it is, a place to come home to. It has an easy welcoming feeling to it. No frills, no feelings of being in such a sterilized home you're afraid to be there cause you will break something.
Our home is unique because aside it being in a GREAT location, family friendly close to the University of Washington, University Village for great shopping, Green Lake for a good row, jog or picnic, close to North Gate Mall and close to Down Townour home is pretty much no frills and straight forwardly comfy. Just a place you could hang around in after enjoying all the sight seeing around Seattle you'll forget you're actually away from home!
Guests will have access to pretty much everything. A fully equipped kitchen, A living room with a 48" inch flat screen with an assortment of movies for all ages, Netflix and Wii games such as zumba and dance games. you may bring your own if you wish. Amenities such as one-car parking right next door to the home (great for families with multiple children you will not lose sight of them), Wi-Fi, children's books, children's toys, coloring books, good teen chapter books, washer & dryer that is in our very well-lit basement, full use of all kitchen appliances such as the coffee maker, juicer, smoothie blender, toaster oven, microwave, gas stove and portable dishwasher for your comfort. In the bathroom a blow dryer and clean towels. For the family 2 adult or Jr. bikes a big girl bike and a child bike with training wheels, a wagon to go pic-nicking and/or a bike trailer to pull a baby or a toddler to ride around town. Upon your arrival you will receive a couple of travelers guides to help you get orientated.
We will not be far away if you have any questions you may call on us through intercom as we will be remaining in the same building just below you. Or call us on the phone because we are technically gone the ENTIRE DAY!
We have a business next door (a little Mexican deli) which operates during the the months of September - June school year so you may also get our attention right next door as well or go over for a meal at your leisure!
What I love about the neighborhood is the proximity to the city and the lakes. Not only is Green Lake walking distance but Lake Union is minutes away driving.
I also like the fact that the bus line is right around the corner, there are three parks walking distance, tennis courts and a golf course.
Need to stock up on produce? We have a fruit stand up the street. Need a manicure or a good bite? Roosevelt strip is walking or bike distance away from the fruit stand.
The Metro is right around the corner from our home. You may get around by walking, bus, bike or car.
Please be aware that this building does not have central air conditioning (almost NO buildings--less than 5%--actually do). There is a window unit during summer months, and we do provide fans for your comfort.
The rest of the images I have yet to still take them pictures but I will put them up as soon as I take them. Or you may request them if I have not yet put them up.
Also, be aware that this is an urbanish environment in the subarbs. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, North Central Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay.
Any questions about this, ask!
We want our guests to be happy
