“Perfect location and accommodations”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2016

This rental was perfect. It had the most wonderful views all around. It was within hiking/walking distance of the beautiful vistas. The accommodation was perfect, very close to the city/activities. Our grown daughter slept on the sleeper sofa. I was worried it might be uncomfortable. But, she said it was fine. We had everything we needed: coffee, cups, plates, silverware, dishwasher. The bathroom was huge.

“Beautiful spot loved our stay!”

We stayed with our children ages 14,11 and 8. We chose connected condo. This was perfect for us because we had some privacy from the kids and they did from us . Super clean ,plenty of room and everything you need. We did have to ask for sevice to change towels (after 3 day)etc but they came promptly. Pool was nice, only suggestion was to add umbrellas, it was 115 degrees when we were there. Close to bike and walking trails (do not go after 10am just too hot) coffee shops and restaurants. Did several Pink Jeep tours and went to Grand Canyon for the day. Loved this trip so much, we would return.

“Biking trip!”

We traveled with another couple and their two year old and had a trip we would never forget! We had the 2bdrm/lock off which was perfect for us. Each couple had their privacy but the door opened up and it was a huge area to hang out. The rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and living areas were great. The hotel is close to all biking trails which was exactly what we wanted. The food and shopping is out of this world good. We were impressed with everything that Diamond and Sedona had to offer.

Wonderful condo! We rented a 2 bedroom lockout. That is a studio and one bedroom attached. Perfect for 2 couples traveling together! Very peaceful.

This is a beautiful resort, clean, spacious and you don't even have to go anywhere to see the gorgeous scenery.....it's right outside your doorway. We loved it.

“Perfect!!!”

The house in Oak Creek could not have been better for our vacation! Two bedrooms and bathrooms provided privacy for both couples, while the kitchen, living room and patio also allowed us to relax together. The home was large, with beautiful decor, art work and all the comforts of home. Having coffee each morning at the house saved money and gave us quiet time to plan the day ahead. Books were even provided for ideas of things to do. When we didn't feel like fighting traffic (we visited during the heaviest tourist season), we could walk to a variety of restuarants, bars, art galleries and shops. The golf course was a lovely back drop and the gated community kept us feeling safe and secure. The homeowner, Ellyn, was helpful and attentive. When I return to the area, I will stay here again and I recommend it to everyone!

“Comfortable”

The unit is nice but dark. Most wood, unit and furniture are dark. TVs are older technology though flat panel. But overall the unit had all the amenities we were looking for.

We love Sedona - and now have a favorite place to come back to. The Summit Resort is very nice (and the unit) was amazing. We squeezed into a studio unit (there were 5 of us) but it really wasn't that bad. We had looked at the One Bedroom Units and they really weren't that different. It looks like all the units have recently been updated. The beds were VERY comfortable (my boys slept on the Murphy Bed in the Living Room (or sleeper couch) and they thought it was great - of course they were playing XBOX all night in front the TV. The TV's were flat panels and all new along with the kitchens (looked newly updated). The resort (for the money) was the best value we'd found in Sedona.

Recommended for: families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, sight seeing, romantic getaway
Owners response: Thanks Henry - please come back when ever you and your family want. We loved having you

wonderful

"This place is perfect. My daughter and I had the most wonderful time. We've stayed in Sedona on 3 other occasions (including L'Auberge - the best place in Sedona - that cost us $400 per night) and we found this place much nicer! The Rooms are incredible and the views are spectacular. We thought there was covered parking for everyone but found out only half of the guests get covered parking (this was inconvenient because we were there in the summer). But overall I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family."

Beautiful place, fun in the sun!

"My sister had told me about this place (it was our first time to Sedona). What a beautiful resort. The views were dramatic. The hiking was exhausting but so incredible that we want to go back! Our room at the Sedona Summit was immaculate. Huge Master Bedroom, Master Bath and Jacuzzi Tub. The restaurants in the area (especially Dali' and DuLuc) were great (get the thin crust pizza). Bring Sun Block - especially if you go to Slide Rock National Park (which is only a few miles down the road) - definitely a must - sooo beautiful!"

"Awesome Place"
"My family & I have been all over the world - but Sedona has got to be in our Top 5 places. The Summit Resort is really nice. However, we spent all of our time outdoors (hiking, biking, shopping, etc.). The Resort itself was great - we traveled in February - so the pool wasn't heated - but the hottubs were. At the end of the day - looking up at the stars (which are really bright in Sedona) it was perfect. We'll be back."

Great stay at the Summit

My daughter and I stayed one week at the Summit in late October. Check-in was quick and easy - of course they tried to get us to sign up for a presentation but we persistently, yet politely, refused. They never bothered us again the entire week. We were very pleased with the unit assigned to us. We had wonderful views of the red rocks from the living room, bedroom and patio. The one bedroom which slept 4 was lovely. The kitchen was nicely designed with granite countertops, new appliances, etc. It wastocked with all the amenities - blender, electric can opener, lots of wine glasses, great dishes, pots, pans, silverware...no complaints here. Although we were too busy to use the pools, they looked very well maintained and they had quite a few. The design of the resort was very nice and the landscaping was beautiful. The bed, pillows and linens were wonderful as well as the towels in the bath. Used the washer and dryer on our next to last night so we didn't have much to do when we got home. Two large flat-screen Tv's - living rom with fireplace. All in all very nice. The resort is located in W. Sedona which is a good drive from Old Sedona but that really wasn't an issue. There are no negatives that I would mention and we both agreed that given the opportunity, we would gladly return to the Summit.
